Dear Malala Get Better Letter

Dear Malala,

Our names are Ellie and Grace. We live in the United States of
America, and after hearing your story we are shocked to hear that
girls in other countries such as Pakistan aren’t allowed to go to
school or even at one time leave their house without a male! We
saw your story on the news this morning, and we thought your story
of fighting for girls education is amazing. We are happy that there
are people in the world who stand up and fight for the things they
believe in!

Also, we thought that your story of how you still went to school
even when the Taliban said girls couldn’t is a great lesson on
bravery! You have inspired us to stand up for what we believe in.
We were amazed that even after all you have been through you are
still just as kind and young spirited as you were before the Taliban
took over Swat. Your family is incredible because even when times
were tough your family was always hopeful for a better tomorrow.

I know that even though you are in the hospital we are looking
forward to the day when you can go back into the world and
continue your education. You are an inspiration to all the girls in
the world, and we are wishing you a quick recovery!
