Outgrown Uniform

There is a uniform shop in the school, run by volunteer mothers, which opens on the first Friday in
the month from 9.00 a.m. - 9.30 a.m. Contributions of good quality second hand uniform are
welcome.

In cases where it is difficult to obtain a necessary item of uniform, please consult the Head BEFORE
buying an alternative.

Jewellery and Badges
Only school badges may be worn.
Prep (F3-F6) may wear plain watches.
Girls with pierced ears may wear plain gold studs, however, THESE MUST BE REMOVED FOR ALL
TYPES OF P.E.
Girls should only wear earrings if they can cope with them unaided.
Earrings for boys are considered unacceptable in school.
A cross and chain or other religious symbol may be worn, under clothing.
The chain must be removed for P.E.

Hair and Make-up
Hair should be neat and tidy with no extremes in styles. Long hair should be tied back securely with
royal blue fabric fasteners for girls. Boys’ hair should be above the collar. In either case hair should
be off the face and should not contain any colourings. No make-up or nail varnish is to be worn at
school at any time.

Ballet uniform can be purchased from Dalby’s, London Road, Westcliff

Children are required to be in correct uniform. Girls must have hair off the face and firmly secured.
