veloping the company’s line of injection-
molded cases, with Steve Kerpan (VP of
Sports Sales) helping to interpret market
trends and deliver products that meet the
needs of today’s modern hunters and out-
door sports enthusiasts.

And SKB continues to flourish, the com-
pany currently in the process of installing
a new injection molding machine (one of
the largest on the West Coast), which will
expand the company’s manufacturing
capabilities, especially for larger iSeries
sizes like those used for bow and long
gun storage/transport. SKB is also work-
ing on new bow interiors that they hope
to showcase at the 2022 ATA Show.

One example of SKB innovation is
the company’s new Bow Traveler Case
(2SKB-4220-BT), a 13-pound combination
bow case and luggage. The Bow Traveler
features a rigid-bottomed, 42-by-20-by-
13-inch “coffin” including padded protec-
tion and Velcro anchoring straps to hold
compound bows up to 40-42 inches long,
and accessory storage, including a zip-
pered space above to pack clothing and
other essential gear. In essence, the case
allows air travel with 37 pounds of gear to
meet the 50-pound airline weight limit. It
includes five storage pockets to keep gear
organized, a tough black nylon exterior,
XL heavy-duty wheels for easy transport,
built-in exterior skid rails, padded and
reinforced handles and an ID pocket. The
Bow Traveler Case is a great solution for
those who fly to hunt, saving the cost of
excess baggage fees by eliminating the
need for a hard bow case in addition to
a duffle or suitcase, or simply offering a
space-saving option for those who drive to
hunting destinations.

Newer iSeries single-bow cases have
also received updated interiors sporting
water-jet-cut foam, allowing the storage
of a bow for safe transport, and space
for a detached quiver, a dozen arrows
and accessory boxes (sold separately) in
the lid. Examples include the 34.50-by-
