Srividya Daita. She was very passionate to continue this dance form and gave her 100% for these past 12 years. She performed in many events and annual day programs conducted in Bay Area. She also learnt Carnatic Vocal music from Guru Smt. Bharathy Subrahmanyam and completed her Level 2 Certification. She graduated from Irvington High School and is going to ABC to pursue her Bachelors in Computer Science. Kuchipudi Rangapravesham Om Gam Ganapathaye Namah Om Sri Gurubhyo Namah Natya Vedam Kuchipudi Dance Academy Proudly Presents Mridangam - Ravindra Bharathy Sri Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan is one of the most sought after Gurus and mridangists in the Bay Area, and is known for his sensitive and creative accompaniment. He had his mridangam initiation under Sri M.A.Krishnamurthy in Mysore in 1980, and continues to further his knowledge under Sri Neyveli Narayanan. Ravi continues to accompany various leading musicians from India and Bay Area. He also runs his percussion school Nadhopasana Academy of Fine Arts. He has won numerous prestigious awards. Violin - Aditya MP Aditya MP is a promising violinist in the field of Carnatic Music. At a young age of 8 he underwent rigorous training from Vidwan T. S. Krishnamurthy. Aditya started performing at a very young age of 13 and has been applauded and appreciated both as an accompanist and a solo violinist. He has performed in many leading music sabhas and festivals all over India as well as in the US. Flute - Srivathsa Pasumarthi Srivathsa Pasumarthi is a 7th generation flutist in his family, his father Pasumarthi Venkataramana and grandfather Late Pasumarthi Viswanatha Rao being flutists. He was mostly self-taught in the early years and later had his formal training from his father. He is currently training with Sri J.B.Sruthi Sagar. He is also an All India Radio BHigh graded mridangam artist and belongs to the prestigious school of Guru Karaikkudi Mani. He is currently working as a research scientist for a healthcare startup in the Bay Area. Nattuvangam - Srividya Daita Guru - Srividya Daita Srividya Daita started her training in Kuchipudi dance from the age of 7 under the tutelage of Sri Mahankali Suryanarayana Sarma garu and continued her training for many years in Guntur, India. She is currently a student of ‘Kalaimamani’ Smt. Uma Murali. She founded 'Natya Vedam' Kuchipudi dance academy in 2010 to imbibe passion, precision and confidence in young artists on and off stage. Students of Natya Vedam performed in many local cultural events for BATA, TANA, Silicon Andhra, Annamacharya, Tyagaraja and Ugadi competitions and consistently won many awards. She believes learning has no end and considers herself a lifelong student. She is currently a Director of Legal Technology Solutions at Cisco Systems Inc. Singer - Mukunda Praveen TBD

Raging with anger Ravana tries to lift the Kailasa mountain and take it to Lanka (his home) but fails. Frustrated yet determined to gain Lord Shiva’s blessings, Ravana tears up his stomach, pulls out his guts to make the instrument Rudraveena and prays for Lord Shiva. This devotion makes Lord Shiva very happy and he comes and blesses Ravana. This song also has a portion where dancers dance on the rim of a brass plate.
