MGM Vikings Coaching Staff

Coach Grady McClusky is the ffensive Coordinator as well

as the uarterbacks coach. t is his first season with the

ikings. e is originally from West Point, M where he

graduated from West Point igh chool. fter high school,

he attended where he received his degree. Coach

McClusky has been coaching for 23 years. e and his wife,

Paula, have two children, icholas and ayleigh.

Coach Markus Douglas is a graduate of MGM. He has been
coaching at MGM for 2 years. He is currently coaching the
Running Backs as well as Track. He attended Jacksonville

State University where he received his degree. Coach
Douglas has 6 years of coaching experience. He and his

wife, Briana, have two children, arsen and Malik.

Coach Clay Pope is entering his first year at MGM
where he will be coaching the ffensive ine. e is

a graduate of West auderdale igh chool and
the niversity of Mississippi. e has coached
football for years. e and his wife, Courtney,
have two children, Eden eigh ( ) and Eliza ( ).

Coach John ubik is entering his second year back at
MGM. He is serving as our Defensive Coordinator. Coach

ubik attended emberton Township High School in New
Jersey. After high school, he furthered his education at
Rowan University and The University of South Alabama.
Coach ubik is also the Track coach at MGM. He and his
wife, Roxane, have two daughters, Morgan and Jordyn.

Coach ohn Chapman is entering his first year at MGM where
he is coaching nside inebackers and is the pecial Teams

Coordinator. e graduated from t. tanislaus igh chool and
attended college at Mississippi College and the niversity of
outh labama. e has been coaching for years. e is also

the ead oy s occer coach at MGM this year. e and his wife,
eigh nne, have two children, ohn ( ) and lair (2).

Coach Jared arten is entering his first year at MGM
where he is coaching the Defensive Line. He is a

graduate of West Lauderdale High School and Louisiana
Tech. He previously coached at Lessville High School in

Louisiana. He is also coaching Baseball at MGM this
year. He and his wife, Lindsey, have children, Georgia,

Grey, Amelie, Rowan, and nox.

Coach Marcus ohnson is a graduate of MGM. e has been
coaching at MGM for 0 years. e currently is coaching
utside inebackers as well as coaching Girl s Track. e
attended niversity of labama at irmingham and The
niversity of outh labama. e and his wife, Consuella,
have four children, yana, ydia, enise, and Marcus r.

Coach eith Jones Sr. is entering his first year at MGM
where is coaching Wide Receivers. He attended Murphy
High School and Tuskegee University. He has years of

coaching experience in semi pro football. He and
Lateshia Hughes have three children, Desmond
Diamond, eith Jones Jr., and Noah Jones.

Coach Ryan McCulloch is entering his second
year at MGM. e is currently the ead Freshman

Football Coach. e attended pp igh chool
and The niversity of Mobile. e is also coaching

arsity/ oftball at MGM.

Coach Parden is a 0 graduate of MGM. fter igh

chool, he accepted a football scholarship to Marion

Military nstitute. e is entering his th year as a

volunteer coach for the ikings. Travis is the ssistant

Fire Chief at F Emergency ervices. e has been a

paramedic for 25 years. e and his wife aren (MGM

class of ) have twin sons, Ma and Miller, who are

uniors at MGM.

Coach ay ones is an assisstant coach for our
Freshman football team. e is a graduate of MGM
and attended the niversity of West labama. e is
currently working as a paraprofessional at MGM.

Coach Matt Bosarge is entering is second year at MGM. He
is currently coaching Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs
for the Freshman Football Team. He attended Alma Bryant

High School as well as Springhill College and The
University of South Alabama. He is also the Head Girl's
Basketball coach at MGM. He has 2 years of experience

coaching football.

Alex White has been the Certified Athletic
Trainer at MGM for the past 6 years. He
attended North Side High School in Jackson,
TN as well as Middle Tennessee State
University. He and his wife, Luisa, have two

children, Sofia (3), and Emma (1).

October 5, 2018 - MGM vs. Davidson

All MGM Alumni are invited to attend this event. The
invitation is also extended to graduates of Shaw High School. 

The groups are as follows:

1965-1969 1990-1999

1970-1979 2000-2010

1980-1989 2011-2018

Shaw High School

We need a person from each group to coordinate for your group.
Each class group can have a tent (or 2) set up for your class group on
the track behind the north end zone (you supply the tents).
Each tent will be allowed to have 2 tables. MGM will provide the tables.
The tents need to be set up by 5 PM.
You will be allowed at your tents starting at 5:30 PM.
You will be allowed to bring food and ice chests (no alcohol).
The only cost per person will be parking & admission to the game.
The group with the most participation will receive recognition during the
game.
