WINTER IN THAILAND

It's December and Winter in Thailand is back. Experience the cold weather in Thailand, especially near
highlands to feel like you're experiencing winter. Favourite destinations to experience winter in Thai-
land is in the north such as Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Besides the cool weather there, flowers are
also in bloom season. See Cherry Blossoms, Bua Thong fowers and more during Winter in Thailand.

Located at the southern tip of Lanta Island off Krabi shores, the se-
cluded Ao Nui is much-coveted for those wishing to leave all the hus-
tle and bustle behind, but the peace and quiet of ths natural sanctuary.

Highlands of Chiang Mai are challenging, but not beyond the
capacity of local farmers. Terraced rice paddies, stepped to
hug the slopes, have become a sight to behold comes rain or
shine when the fields alter their hues according to the weathers.

Some place calls for extra strength. Hin Sam Wan Cliff, soaring
350 metres over Phu Singh Forest Park in Bung kan, are massive
and ancient rocks dated back over 75 million years ago. A place
to be bewildered, though you'll need to be extra careful for there's
no guard rails over the edges and the cliffs can be quiet slippery.

A stone's throw from Bangkok, this majestic dam has a railway run-
ning through it. A royal initiation of the late King Rama XI to solve the
perpetual drought and deluge problems in the area, this dam was
completed back in 1998. Now a beautiful place to visit all year round.

Ai Yerweng Skywalk, Betong

A new attraction is in town in Betong. Walk over a sea of mist and en-
joy the breath taking view that feels like you are walking on clouds.
Ai Yerweng Skywalk is believed to be the longest skywalk in South-
east Asia measuring at 61 metres long and at an altitude of 600 metres.
Don’t forget to catch a picture for the gram when you visit.

Experience Thainess

When you miss Thailand, we bring Thailand to
you.

Tourism Authority of Thailand, Kuala Lumpur
(TAT KL) in collaboration with the Royal Thai
Embassy Kuala Lumpur organized a fun session
with our partners to experience Muay Thai (Thai
boxing). The session lets us experience the be-
ginners/basic level of Muay Thai with profession-
al Muay Thai trainers. The session was done on
15th December at the Ultimate Muay Thai Gym.
