The Day That I Could Never Forget

I have so many unforgettable memories but the one that I’m going to share
here is one of the most precious experience that I will remember until my last breath.
I’m a type of person that is rarely hanging out with my friends because I have strict
parents. My mom is a very protective person so wherever I go, I must go with both of
my parents. After a few months I got my SPM results, I received an offer letter to
pusue my studies from my dream university. From there, I made lots of good and
well-mannered friends. Gladly they are so kind and supportive to me. After a while
I’ve been studying there, my classmates and I were planning to go somewhere.
There are lots of interesting place suggestions but and the end of our discussion, we
agreed to go to Penang. So here is my favourite journey that I could never forget for
the rest of my life.

Since our road trip was not during any public holidays, we need to return to
our university at the same day. I was overjoyed and happy as a lark when I was
thinking that I will be having my first road trip with my friends. Luckily, my parents
gave me permission and they told me to be careful during the vacation. For our
transportation, we’ve booked 3 cars to accommodate the eleven of us. My roommate
and I were deciding about the items that we should bring along such as makeup,
food and drinks, mat and so on. I’ve been spoilt for choice to decide my outfit to wear
on that day. In the evening before that long awaited special day, we made a group
video call to divide the eleven of us in 3 cars and we organized our plans for
tomorrow such as our destinations and the places we need to stop for resting and
praying purpose. My car consists of 4 people which was me, Johan, Amier and Nisa.
Amier was the one who in charged as a driver of our car.

It took 2 hours to arrive at Penang but luckily our journey was not boring at all
because of the supportive passengers that enlighten the mood in the car. We did
many joyful things such as singing together, telling each other about our secrets and
life stories, sharing about past love experiences and so on. From that, we were able
to streghthen our friendship and knowing each other better. As soon as we arrived at
Penang, I could see the excitement on everyone’s face. First and foremost, we went
to Nasi Kandar Kampung Melayu that is famous with their nasi kandar since we were
so hungry as a bear. After we finished eating some appetizing food, we decided to go
to any places that was suitable for us to take a walk. I gave a suggestion to go to
Penang Street Art. I knew that my friends love to take pictures so this would be a
wonderful idea.

Once we arrived at Penang Street Art, we took some group pictures there.
We were amazed by seeing those creative arts through the street. However, behind
the joyful moment there was an incident happened that put me and Nisa in a trouble.
We went to the toilet that is located a bit far away from our rendezvous place. Out of
the blue, an old man appeared out of nowhere and he asked for our money in a
forceful way. We started to panic because he kept on forcing us in a creapy way so
we tried to run away from him. What makes it scarier was that old man kept on
chasing us wherever we go and the distance between us was very close. We felt
uneasy about it hence we called the others to come at that place. I was very grateful
that our friends came to us as fast as lightning and luckily the old man also
dissapeared in a blink of an eye. Nevertheless, that incident did not stop us to
continue our journey to the next place because no one was harmed by that incident.

We continued our journey to our final destination which was Esen Beach. I
was so excited to see a breathtaking scenery of sunsets with my friends. As always,
we took many pictures of ourselves at the beach. While waiting for the golden hour,
we sat in a circle and took out some snacks. In addition, Amier brought his guitar so
we sang a lot of songs together while he played the melody with his guitar. It was
such a precious moment for us. Finally, the long awaited moment happened in front
of our eyes which was the sunset. We were so mesmerized by the picturesque
scenery. We took lots of pictures and videos of the sunset. It was such a bless that I
was able to enjoy my vacation with my dearest friends. Moreover, I was over the
moon because I succeed to fulfill one of my wish list which was watching sunset with
my beloved people.

After a long tiring day, we had our dinner at a seafood restaurant which is
located near the beach. We were so starving because we only ate snacks at the
beach. We had some chit-chatting while enjoying our food. As soon as we finished
eating, we continued our journey back to the university. Last but not least, I still can’t
believe that I’ve spent a quality day with my friends at Penang because this was my
first time travelling without my parents by my side. It was such an unforgettable
moment for me. Despite an incident that happened at the Penang Street Art, every
single moments will be a bitter-sweet experience that I will never forget for the rest of
my life. I hope we can plan for another trips next time at other wonderful places
during holiday.
