SUNDAYS AT 9 & 11 AM

Worship is what we were made for and what our weekend services are all about. There is so much
about God to worship, and there are so many ways to do it. Our service includes music and singing,

hearing and learning from God's Word, as well as thanking God and giving to His work.

Conversational ASL interpretation is available at the 9:00 a.m. service and headphones are
available at all services for those who are hard of hearing — just ask an usher for assistance.

VISION & PRAYER NIGHT

SUNDAY, JANUARY 8 | 6:00–7:0 PM
WORSHIP CENTER

Plans have been made for an impactful semester but first, we are
commanded to submit them to the Lord (James 4:15). Scripture
teaches us that God knows what we need before we ask (Matthew
6:8). God delights to be asked humbly for big things (James
5:16–17). Since a genuine move of God’s Spirit is what we are
looking for, we are calling an all-church prayer meeting and time of
vision-setting to kick off the semester.

BAPTISM CLASS

To become a Christian is to receive a whole new life—a cleansed life.
This event is so important in a person's life; it should be celebrated
in front of everyone, and that's what baptism is. Jesus told us to be
baptized. To be baptized, you have to be a Christian. At a minimum,
every true Christian holds belief in the Apostles' Creed, which is
the oldest and most basic statement of faith in Christianity. We
have ways to ensure you understand and believe the tenets of the
Apostles' Creed. A pastor will help you confirm your beliefs at the
class or before the baptism service. If you have a child seeking to be
baptized, we have a parents' guide to help you walk through it with
your child.
This baptism class is designed to help you learn more about the
baptism process, study biblical baptism, and answer your questions
before the baptism services on Easter. To register for the baptism
class, please visit myfac.org/baptism.

In our culture, we’re in a fight for the dictionary definitions of man and
woman. But because God created man and woman, marriage, and the
biblical family, it’s not just a fight for a definition—it’s a fight for God’s glory.
The devil has hated everything beautiful that God ever made, so he has
made every effort to erode God’s design for the family in our modern era.

As Christians, we are called to be the salt of the earth and light in the
darkness (Matthew 5:13-14). That requires us to have the courage and love
to tell people the Truth about what it means to be a man and a woman,
what marriage is, and God’s design for the family. No matter your stage
of life—single or married, a student or a parent—this conference is for you.
Know God’s call for you to be a man or woman, find what kind of spouse
you should be joined with, discover His perfect design for the unique roles
of husband and wife in the marriage covenant, and learn His commands

about raising children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

The intended audience for this conference is high school-age and up.

MEXICO: LUIS & MARCIA COTO

Luis and Marcia Coto and their 25-year-old daughter, Valentina, are missionaries from Costa Rica. They planted two churches in Costa Rica in
2003 and 2011, from which they sent missionaries to Asia, Africa, and America. In 2015, they began their cross-cultural missionary work in

then to strengthen their foundation in Christ so that they can be
fully trained and prepared for every good work.

We have experienced and seen how the Holy Spirit has led and
enabled us to share the gospel with passion, clarity, and courage.
He has opened spaces and opportunities to share Christ with
nonbelievers and believers. He has also opened up their hearts to
desire a relationship with Jesus and to know Him more. With those
whom we have shared the Word of God, we have seen the Holy
Spirit convicting and challenging them to draw closer to Christ.

their relationship with Christ. According to the needs of the families

encouraging them to love Christ and build a marriage according to

In continuing to obey God, we now want to plant a church with

send workers to continue with the beautiful calling and ministry of

WHY WE SERVE 23

We serve to participate in the work of the Kingdom and to make an impact. Service is a part
of the commandment Jesus gives us to love one another (John 13:34). As a body of believers

and disciples of Christ, we want to be known for the love we show to others (John 13:35).
