SERVING
SHAPES
US AS
PEOPLE OF
COMPASSION

FIND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Our Christian life always flourishes and grows when we serve
others. Serving is transformational because it shapes us as
people of compassion and care.
The idea of serving is central to Christianity, and it is radical.
Why? In many religions, gods are served by human hands out
of fear of wrath. However, we serve because of what we see in
God’s own nature exemplified by Jesus in what He has done for
us. Jesus came into this world to serve and not to be served.
Serving is that simple step that keeps us healthy and growing as
followers of Jesus. You have an opportunity this fall to serve in
many ways.

The Comeback: It’s Not Too Late and
You’re Never Too Far

Feeling like you’ve blown it? Reached the point of no return? Your life hasn’t
gone as planned? If so, you are not alone. We all know what it feels like to
have life disappoint us and not work out as we’d hoped. We all know what it’s
like to long for something different, something better, and something more.

This video study by Louis Giglio shows that God can use our mess and still
make a masterpiece. Our current circumstances do not get the final say in
our lives.
