MUJIL is a luxury fashion handbag brand with one extraordinary difference. Each unique bag is designed by an expert Belgian and Thai designer, using the finest leather combined with meticulously handcrafted from woven fabric by a skilled local Thai artisan, using knowledge passed down through generations. MUJIL was founded by Gulyarat Vichai to honor the Thai heritage of local fabric weaving while simultaneously creating a bag collection for a feminine style-setter who appreciates the luxury of traditional hand craftsmanship yet also desires a bold modern aesthetic. 6 BE UNIQUE BE YOURSELF ABOUT US
IDENTITY MUJIL images a smart woman who stands out with confidence is dauntless, and charming in her luxurious sleek style with her own distinctiveness. 7 INSPIRATION The MUJIL refers to “My Unique Just Initiative Local” which was inspired by the founder’s story, a striving country woman who moved into the big city only herself for studying, then become an urban smart woman. Although she is living in the capital city, by the way, she always muses about her faraway hometown and wishes to get the local culture closer to urban. MUJIL was designed by the world around us conceptual to fit all lifestyles. Because there are many local cultures waiting for us to discover. SLOGAN MUJIL essential brand explores traditional silk textiles into a modern lifestyle bag to make her own distinctiveness as our slogan “Be Unique Be Yourself”

After earning a master’s degree in Accounting, Gulyarat Vichai launched a successful career as a certified professional accountant in a leading state enterprise company in Thailand. Despite enjoying her career, she has always dreamed of leaving her footprint in the world of fashion. With a passion for everything vintage, Gulyarat fell in love with Thao fabric and its sleek pattern. Her vision was to advocate that cherished silky fabric and update it for modern women's bags with unique designs. Throughout history, native peoples have been crafting fabric from which we carry this time-honored practice into novel lifestyles, keeping a noble tradition. In a world where mass production dominates and synthetic fibers flood the market, it’s time to honor the creativity of our ancestors, while also creating fashionforward bags that will transcend all trends. I have had opportunities to travel extensively throughout the country and have seen the beauty of Thai textile craftsmanship which is passed down through generations. Thus, I decided to launch MUJIL to share Thai ancient culture with the modern world. The art behind Thai silk fabric is a cultural treasure of Thailand that was developed for a long time centuries. Each pattern reflects the wisdom, history, social values, and religious beliefs of each area. The handwoven can give an extraordinary mixing of charm smoothness and shine combined with irregular slab surface effects. Each handcrafted pattern of fabric arrangement cannot be produced twice.
