Everyone has a goal in their life, so do me. My ultimate goal is to be a

lecturer. The reasons why I have always wanted to be a teacher is because I have

passion in teaching. I find myself enjoy teaching whenever I was tutoring my

juniors when I was in highschool. I do have few experiences in teaching and I also

have a certificate for being ‘Guru Muda’ back during my highschool period.




Secondly, I want an economically

stable job. Lecturer is a profession

where you can get a stable salary.

Considering the salary of the job is

really important, it’s really hard to

survive if we did not have any salary

target. According to thestar.com,

Malaysia’s economy is slowing down

and it will be financially hard to live a

comfortable life. Therefore, finding a

stable job would cater this problem.

I believe that I can achieve my goal

if I manage to get a master with a very

excellent CGPA.

According to my estimated time, the year that I will achieve my goal is in the year of

2023. After graduating on time, which is on the year of 2021. I will pursue my Master in

Business Aministration and will apply for the position of a lecturer in the year of 2023.

Obstacles that I will face






The first and foremost obstacle is on financial

restriction because in order to compete with other

graduates, I need to at least have a Master in Business

Administration (MBA) to achieve my goal.

Therefore, I have to strategically plan my finance in

order to pursue MBA. Pursuing master is very costly

especially if I did not get any offer for scholarship.

Another obstacle is that I need to overcome my

glossophobia which is the fear of public speaking. In


this sense, being a lecturer, I will need to speak
confidently in front of the students. Therefore, I am


practising to overcome the fear.






WHO I NEED ?



First of all, the person who can assist, and have always been assisting me is my parents. All

time time, they have been aiding me financially and giving me morale support and without

them I cannot be where I’m at right now. Scholarship is also a must to ease my financial

problem. Other than that, Higher learning institution is also an important organization that

will assist me in achieving my goal.

 The first benefit is that I would feel happy and this will lead to a

stress-free life because I am doing the job that I love.




 Secondly, I feel that the profession of teaching is a noble job and it

will give me a sense of self-worth because I am contributing for the

society.
