Tunisian Association of Pharmaceutical Students

The Tunisian Association of Pharmacy Students ATEP
is a Tunisian non-profit association authorized by license
No. 18 of January 15, 1985 and based at the Faculty
of Pharmacy of Monastir. The ATEP manages the social
and cultural life of the students within and if necessary
outside the Faculty of Pharmacy of Monastir.

Our association encompasses various activities relating to the.
scientific, public health, cultural, ecological, professional,
humanitarian, sports and leisure fields, as well as the activities.
indicated within the International Pharmaceutical Students
Federation: IPSF.

In these 37 years of activities, evolution, novelties and traditions,
we have succeeded, thanks to our 5 committees, in offering to
pharmacy students a para-university contribution complementary
to the training that we have within our faculty.

Eastern Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Symposium

Created in 2010, the Eastern Mediterranean regional office
has continued to expand its range of activities while
ensuring global coverage of the countries in the region.
The EMPS is one pillar among others within the IPSF and
represents by far the flagship event not only for the EMRO
but also for any young pharmacist pharmacist in the region.

Indeed the EMPS is a grandiose gathering, bringing together
all these future pharmacists and their colleagues from various
offices of the IPSF around a range of educational activities and
an enriching scientific program: touching on several facets
of the pharmaceutical field and provided by internationally
renowned speakers. Added to this is a professional development
program to complete the educational aspect.

Obviously a series of cultural and social activities will be on
the program in order to strengthen the new links created and
to introduce Tunisia to our guests. This ninth edition promises
to be rich and promising, indeed after asuccessful 4th edition
which took place here, Tunisia has the means in addition to
the experience necessary to holdan event of this magnitude.

Tunisia is currently facing an organ shortage.
The list of patients awaiting transplants has grown significantly,

Therefore, the Public health and Humanitarian commitees
of ATEP campaign to help demystify organ donation as well as
raise public awareness about the critical need for more donors
across the country.
