ASK MY KID is a fast paced family quiz game show with parents and their child (ages 10-16),
with special episodes! ASK MY KID is hosted by renowned amazingly funny comedian, actor
Godfrey of too many television and film appearances to mention! Most quiz shows require
research for the questions and answers, but ASK MY KID quiz game show does not. The
questions are standard family questions created by the show’s producers and the
answers/responses are ALL from the mouths of the children and parents on the show.

The question is how well do the parents know their child? Do they really know what they are
thinking in any given situation? We all have heard or said ourselves “I know my kid” but how
well do we? The parents are put to the test. Some parents and kids will be embarrassed by some
of the things said! How many of us have muttered something under our breath after being
scolded by our parents, most of us! Well ASK MY KID will get those statements and much
more!
Children share similarities to their parents but are also their own person with their own thoughts.
But wait there are special episodes, celebrity parents with their kids, parents with kids ages 4 – 8,
seniors with their adult kids, and grandparents with their grand kids, to play ASK MY KID!

FORMAT


ASK MY KID is a full team participant competition. Parents claim to know their kid best! Two
teams with two Parents and one child compete in 3 rounds of quizzes of topics: School, Home
and Fun to win cash and prizes. They have to identify what their kid did or did not say. The host
will interact with teams creating laughter and a family ambiance to be desired by the viewers!

The suggested various episodes. Episodes order to be later determined.

Episodes 1-64

Parents and son; Kids ages 10-16
Parents and daughter; Kids ages 10-16
Parents and their adult children; Kids ages 17 up
Grandparents and grandkids; Kids ages 10-16
Parents and kids; Kids ages 4-8
Step Parent/s and son; Kids ages 10-16
Step Parent/s and daughter; Kids ages 10-16
Celebrity Parents and kids; Kids ages 10-16
Celebrity Parents and their adult children; Kids ages 17 up

Episode 65 / Last episode: Top two Parent and Kids (10-16) teams of the season compete for
ASK MY KID Championship winning $20,000!


SCHOOL


ROUND1

Parents (mother & father) standing at their v shaped podium, the kids of the parents stand aside
their parents. The host introduces himself and the families. The host explains rules.

 The host asks the kids to sit center stage.
 The host selects which family goes first by asking a question with a statement “whose kid
said this”. Both parents of the teams can answer “my kid” “their kid” or “neither”. The
first to hit buzzer goes first with correct selection.
 There are three sets of four multiple choice statements to be selected from,
simultaneously by both parents, by dropping a coin in the selected slot representing the
statement selected.
 The Parents must choose which statements their kid said to earn money.
 One set of multiple choice statements will be in question at a time. Ten seconds allowed
making each selection. The parent’s selections are revealed after they have finished all
three sets of statement selections.
 The host calls the kid whose parents are being quizzed to the witness stand/chair. Host
reads the first four statements and then asks the kid in witness chair which statement he
said of the four statements in question.
 The host now reveals the parents results. First question $100 each correct parent
selection. Second question $150 each correct parent selection. Third question $200 each
correct parent selection.

 After results revealed the kid is asked to return to their seat aside other kid center stage.
 The host will now repeat previous execution with the challenging family.
 The family with the highest cash tallied at the end round 1 starts the second round.

ROUND2
Three sets of four multiple choice statements to be selected from, simultaneously by both
parents, by dropping a coin in the selected slot representing the statement selected.
The Parents must choose which statements their kid said to earn money.
 In case one team has fallen behind the parents now can win twice the cash each correct
statement they match!

 One set of multiple choice statements will be in question at a time. Ten seconds allowed
making each selection. The parent’s selections are revealed after they have finished all
three sets of statement selections.
 The host calls the kid whose parents are being quizzed to the witness stand/chair. Host
reads the first four statements and then asks the kid in witness chair which statement he
said of the four statements in question.
 The host now reveals the parents results. First question $100 each correct parent
selection. Second question $150 each correct parent selection. Third question $200 each
correct parent selection.
 After results revealed the kid is asked to return to their seat aside other kid center stage.
 The host will now repeat previous execution with the challenging family.

 The family with the highest cash tallied at the end of round 2 starts the second round

FUN

ROUND3


Twelve statements answered, simultaneously by both parents, dropping a coin in the selected slot
representing the statement selected.

 The Parents must now identify what their kid said and what the other Parents kid said to
earn money!
 One statement will be in question at a time. The answers to these statements are simply
“My kid” or Their kid”. Five seconds allowed making each selection.
 The parent’s selections are revealed after they have finished answering.
 The host calls the kid whose parents are being quizzed to the witness stand/chair. Host
reads the statements and then asks the kid in witness chair which statements he/she said
of the statements in question.
 The host now reveals the parents results. Only Parent “Their Kid” matches are now worth
double. First question $100 each correct parent selection. Second question $150 each
correct parent selection. Third question $200 each correct parent selection.
 After results revealed the kid is asked to return to their seat aside other kid center stage.
 The host will now repeat previous execution with the challenging family.
 The family with the highest cash tallied at the end of round 3 wins the game.
 Winners keep cash earned during game.

 The winning kid joins parents at podium, advancing to My Parents Said bonus round
 There are no repeat winners; new family’s each episode, unless you make it to ASK MY
KID Championship.

My Parents Said


The winning family’s kid is now put in their parents position asked 10 questions by host. ASK
MY KID is a team effort front to back! The kid is now relied on knowing their parent, to bring
home the My Parents Said bonus!
 The host questions are true or false answers to the parents “what would your kid say”
statements.
 The kid must select true or false if their parent made the statement. Five seconds allowed
time.
 The answers are revealed. The host reads out each statement followed with the kids
answer true or false.
 Each correct selection worth $200, eight of ten correct wins $2500 bonus!
Host bids farewell until next episode

At seasons end the top two ASK MY KID winners will engage in friendly battle in the ASK MY
KID championship episode, the winner having a chance at $20,000 and ASK MY KID
Championship title!

Each episode the host will ASK MY KID. Will it be your kid? Have you said “I know my kid”!
Maybe you do and if so how well? Or maybe you don’t? Let’s see! ASK MY KID quiz game
show will help bridge families in more ways than one!
