LIGHT & BUILDING, which we have supported as AGID since the day we were founded; It is a
pioneering fair that we attach importance to on an international scale, which brings the lighting
sector stakeholders together and offers the opportunity to exchange technological information.

After a long break, we are happy to be together on this platform with wide participation. We
are also excited to have the opportunity to introduce our innovative, efficient and sustainable
solutions. There is no doubt that the lighting industry will shed light on the journey of change that
started with the epidemic period, and the fair is a new beginning for all of us.

I would like to say that as Turkey, we are among the top three countries participating in the fair
this year. Among the companies participating from our country, there are 41 member companies.

As we always say, as the Turkish Lighting Industry, we are an important production and logistics
center both in continental Europe and in the surrounding geography, we want to increase our
power in our manufacturing industry and offer solutions for different markets in a wide geography
from Kazakhstan to Italy. In this context, we believe that L&B is an important meeting point.

In addition to being the production and logistics center of the Turkish Lighting Industry, it also has
a high potential in terms of product design competence, technological solution suggestions and
human resources. We fully believe that you will experience an important awareness on this issue
at the stands of each of our manufacturers that you will visit during the fair.

As AGID, it is our values t​​o implement what needs to be done about better lighting, to increase
awareness about the value and importance of lighting, to spread the circular economy in our
country under the heading of lighting awareness in our sector and to support the development of
all legal regulations.

We try to fulfill our duties with each of our activities based on these values. We are proud to
represent the Turkish Lighting Industry as an important umbrella institution and actor of Turkey,
both nationally and internationally, with our 120 members and LE, of which we are a founding
member.

I wish L&B a successful and productive fair and offer my deepest respects, wishing all exhibitors

Our company operating in electrical and lighting equipment industry
was established in 1967. The manufacturing operation under the brand
name ALKAN® was funded by 100% domestic capital.

In our manufacturing site in Şile / Istanbul, TURKIYE which has a 20.000m² indoor
area on a 86.000m² land, we design, develop and manufacture lighting products
distributed both domestic and foreign markets.

Our company’s goal, is the improvement of energy efficient LED luminaires, with proven
quality level certified by TSE-EN integrared with implementation of certified ISO9001
Quality assurance system, Environmental and OHSAS management systems.

We are proud of sharing our company’s innovative and effective brand’s leadership in
the Turkish lighting industry occupied with decades of experience with our technology,
quality level, social responsibility, competent employees and customer oriented structure.

We currently export our products to countries worldwide and we aim to further expand
our brand in challenging global markets.
