A Note from the Director

Let me start by giving a warm and WILD welcome to our wonderful
patrons, and I thank you all for attending this performance of the
Jones, Hope, and Wooten play The Wild Women of Winedale. With
times as uncertain as they are, finding a way to bring live theatre
back to our communities is so very important, and your support
and attendance is a huge step towards that. For that support,
I humbly thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
The Wild Women of Winedale boldly celebrates life, love, family,
friendships, and the lives and stories of women in a way that will
have you laughing, crying, and then laughing again and again.
This comedy has so much heart and a true pulse to it, and I hope
you all thoroughly enjoy the heart, sweat, and hours that my truly
incredible cast, crew, and production team have invested to bring
this piece to life.
This production would NOT have been possible without my cast,
crew, and team, so for them I need to take this time to give thanks:
to Diane, Kerri, and Marissa for choosing this piece, trusting me to
direct this, all of the prompt responses to the many, many emails,
for the late night phone calls, and for everything you do; to
Rebekah and Carli for vigorous note taking, rolling with all the
punches, and for your continued professionalism; and, of course,
to my cast: Georgia, Alice, Jeanene, Monica, and Wendy, for
taking this piece and giving it so much life, for collaborating with
me at every term, and for making this production joyful, breezy,
and as stress-free as possible.
In closing, I hope you all are welcomed back to live theatre with
this performance, our production touches you, and that it will
make you laugh until your cheeks hurt-that's what it does for me!
In the words of Aunt Hester Wild, "When the ice starts cracking
underfoot, even the moose knows it's time to jump or die."
I invite you all to "jump" with us!

Madison is honored to have the opportunity to
direct this fabulous production of The Wild
Women of Winedale with Tarpon Arts and with
an astonishing cast/crew to boot! Madison has
directed and performed in the Tampa Bay area for
the last 10 years and also runs the performance group, Tarpon
Sings! Some favorite credits include: directing The Crucible
(CWP), Josie in A Moon for the Misbegotten (CWP), Aldonza
in Man of La Mancha (Tarpon Arts), Ruth in The Pirates of
Penzance (Tarpon Arts), and Nadia in BARE: A Pop Opera
(CWP). Madison would love to thank the team at Tarpon Arts,
Rebekah Stevenson, Carli Kosloski, her lovingly 'Wild' cast,
and her friends and family for their continued love and support.
Rebekah Stevenson, Stage Manager
Rebekah is excited to be back in Tarpon Springs
working with this amazing group of hilarious
women. She's very grateful to Madison for the
opportunity and Carli for all of her help. She hopes
you enjoy the show.
Carli Kosloski, Assistant Stage Manager
Carli is ecstatic to be assisting Madison Claire and
Rebekah Stevenson in this production of The Wild
Women of Winedale! Since Carli has never done
tech before, this new experience has opened her
eyes to life behind the stage. She thanks her
sister, Madison, for the opportunity.
David Daly, Backstage Crew
David is thrilled to be helping backstage with
Tarpon Arts’ rendition of The Wild Women of
Winedale. He has worked as backstage crew for a
number of shows, including New Tampa Player's
Mary Poppins and Into the Woods. He's also been
on-stage at Tarpon Arts in Princess Ida and Richey Suncoast
Theatre in The Addams Family, Blithe Spirit, and Almost, Maine
among others.

Roye Heffetz, Backstage Crew
Roye Heffetz is excited to be working backstage and wants to
wish everyone “break a leg” on their performance.

Georgia Kosloski as Fanny Wild Cantrelle
Georgia is so happy to be back at Tarpon Arts.
She loves to perform and has been seen
performing all over the Tampa Bay Area for the
last 8 years. She would like to thank Madison,
Carli, and the entire cast and crew for being so
wonderful to work with and her friends and family for their
continued love and support. She wants to give a special shout
out to her wonderful husband, Darryl, and to Mama in the
wings, “God Bless you on your journey.”
Alice Morgan as Willa Wild
Alice is beyond excited to work with this terrific
script, director, and cast. She first discovered
theatre in order to survive high school, then
rediscovered community theatre with roles
in Steel Magnolias, The Foreigner, and Driving
Miss Daisy. Previous Tarpon Arts productions include Death by
Golf and The Last Two Oranges on the Tree. Smitten with
Tarpon Springs, this retired teacher from Georgia is a Florida
Master Naturalist, an eco educator, and a fifth generation
farmer. She thanks her cast, director, and staff for their help
and patience and you for attending and laughing loudly.
Jeanene MacLean as Johnnie Faye “Jef” Wild
Jeanene is excited to be acting in another Hope
Jones Wooten comedy and working with her
incredible castmates. She recently appeared as
Savannah in Mama Won't Fly. 2019 Credits
include: Vernadette Sims in The Dixie Swim
Club, Charlie Collins in Always A Bridesmaid and Truvy Jones
in Steel Magnolias. Favorite credits include: Billy Dawn in Born
Yesterday and Maria in Lend Me A Tenor. She thanks
Madison, crew, her fellow castmates, friends, and, most of all,
her family for all their love and support.

Monica Tellez-Daly as Doreen Whitman, Betty
Dunlap, Glenda Bates, and Edith Macklin
Monica is so thrilled to once again be working with
Tarpon Arts and having Madison as a Director for
the first time after having acted alongside her in
Princess Ida. Favorite roles include: Ysabel in Out
of the Mouth of Poets/LTP, Violet in 9to5/StageWest, Nellie in
Jekyll and Hyde/Richey Suncoast Theatre, and Lady Joan
Denny in the Bay Area Renaissance Festival. She would like to
thank Madison for this opportunity to play multiple women that
she could really relate to, the production team for making sure
rehearsals ran smoothly, and her fellow castmates, especially
Wendy. She is grateful everyone was healthy. As always, she
thanks her husband, David, for his continued support. She
hopes you enjoy the show!
Wendy Crosato as Flo Hudson and Nora Griffin
Along with a protagonist personality, Wendy
enjoys many different arts including her first public
play. She is inspired by her friends and family.

The History of Epiphany

TUES, NOV. 17 • 10:00 AM &
2:00 PM

Heritage Museum

Learn the fascinating history and customs of the Epiphany Celebration in
Tarpon Springs. As the largest Epiphany (Theophany) celebration in the world
and one of the only places outside of Greece where the holiday is observed in
this manner, the annual event now draws thousands of visitors every January
6th. You’ll hear about the blessing of the waters, the dove release, the casting
of the cross and how the divers are selected to be a part of the ceremony.
This special holiday is just one of the many ways that Greek culture has
contributed to attracting visitors to experience the unique qualities of the City
of Tarpon Springs. Complimentary light refreshments.

In this zany holiday comedy, David, a young executive, is moonlighting as a
department store Santa so that he can buy his wife Samantha an expensive fur
for Christmas. He tells her he’s working at the office late, but when she finds out
he is not at the office, suspicions arise. Newlywed Samantha enlists the help of
her neighbor Natalie along with her psychiatrist husband to get to the bottom of it.
Suspicions, hypnotism gone wrong, the notorious Santa burglar Kris Kreigle and
his gun-toting fiancée, and a confused police officer all add up in a rollicking tale
that is hilarious Christmas entertainment.
