Hyatt Ziva/Zilara
Rose Hall
March 17-21, 2018

Thank You!

What a wonderful and gratifying experience we shared this March
in Montego Bay. That experience wasn’t due to just our beautiful
accommodations at the Hyatt Ziva/Zilara Rose Hall or the magnificence
of the beaches or the delicious food and drink or the endless activities
available to us. Although all of those things were memorable, the thing that
stands out the most to me is the camaraderie and the sense of family that
an event like this engenders.

We were able to gather together to rejoice in the accomplishments of our
colleagues, to rekindle long-standing friendships and to forge new ones.
It was an opportunity to look back over the past year and take satisfaction
in our individual successes and in the strength of our organization. It
prompted us to look forward with renewed energy to what we might all
achieve in the months ahead.

I am so very grateful to all of you who attended Pacesetter and shared in
our well-deserved celebration. Thank you for continuing our tradition of
excellence and our commitment to each other and to the Network.

Nancy Halverson
MRINetwork® General Manager

MRINetwork Alan R. Schonberg Year
Person of the

Dannie Newell The Newell Group

The Alan R. Schonberg Person of the Year, named for the much-loved founder of MRINetwork,
recognizes one of our family who has made the greatest contribution to the Network during the
preceding year. Dannie Newell, 2017 honoree and owner of the Newell Group, has truly made
contributions that are worthy of the gratitude of his peers.

Spurred on by the direction he got from experienced offices over the years, Dannie is inspired to give
back to the Network by helping new offices with everything from desk-level training to managing
day-to-day business functions. He currently serves on the Representative Council and is a member
of the Awards & Recognition Committee and the Marketing Committee. In 2017, he was appointed
to manage and run the election process from beginning to end for the two open Rep Council seats.

In addition to serving his fellow owners and his community in a variety of volunteer activities,
Dannie stayed on track and managed his office’s billings to over $1,000,000. He is humbled and
grateful to be included among the past winners of this award, offices that he has admired for years.
