Giraffes Can’t Dance

Overview of the Book:

Gerald the Giraffe wants to dance at the annual Jungle
Dance. But his legs were too skinny, his neck was too long
and his knees buckled when he tries to twirl. All the other
jungle animals laugh at Gerald because he could not dance.
Gerald leaves the Dance very sad and lonely.

Fortunately there is one little creature, the Cricket, who
believes in Gerald and helps him learn to dance.

Using Tux Paint, our students created their own pictures of
Gerald dancing and then suggested how they could be a
good friend and help their friends.
