Principal's Message
"It takes something more than
intelligence to act intelligently."
~ Fyodor Dostoevsky
“We are committed and determined to redefine the cause of excellence in education.”
As the Principal of United World Campus, I feel honoured and privileged to be part of an
educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to
learn and discover. We look at ourselves as a community of learners, where everyone learns
including our students, teachers, parents & staff. We believe in upholding high standards with
an absolute commitment to strive to understand and improve the educational process, using
team strategies, while wholly centering on student achievement.
The new academic session 2022-2023 began with new hopes and expectations. It was a
delight to welcome the students back to school. The session for the pre-primary began on 25th
March22 and the primary section session began on 1st April 22. The staff and the students were
all geared up to take the new challenges in their stride. We stand ready to undertake the CMS
Vision 2025, which involves sweeping changes in pedagogy, teachers’ professional
development, improving assessment patterns, and incorporating global citizenship education,
it's a clarion call for our staff to adopt all these so that we can inculcate the 6Cs and make
future ready students.
Child’s learning involves and revolves around an effective partnership between home & school.
We know the stronger the partnership , the more the child will benefit. Keeping this in mind,
Parent orientation programmes were conducted for all the classes to brief the parents about
the new pedagogies and new assessment pattern. The students celebrated Vidya Ka Parv,
World Health Day, Ram Navmi, World Pet Day, Easter Day, Dr. BR Ambedkar Jayanti, Mahaveer
Jayanti, World Earth Day and World Malaria Day. The students also participated in special
assemblies and Spell Bee competition, Social Studies Quiz and Mental Maths Competition.
Our staff fruitfully employ two diverse strategies that are of Love and Logic to foster a positive
learning environment for all our students. While love helps nurture trusting relationships, where
students feel respected, appreciated and loved by the teachers, logic helps develop students
personal responsibility, self control, good decision making skills, self confidence, and character
building with high moral values.
Each child has a potential to learn and it is our endeavour to ensure that we achieve it as we
believe in “All students can learn and succeed, but not in the same way and not on the same
day”.– William G. Spady

Celebration
of Important
Days
RAM NAVMI
Ramnavmi is a Hindu spring
festival that celebrates the
birthday of Rama, the seventh
avatar of Vishnu.
The pre-primary section
celebrated the day with great
fervor and enthusiasm. The
children were dressed in
Traditional attire. The
celebration commenced by
telling the importance of
Ramnavmi in the Special
Assembly.
Later the children spoke a few
lines on Ramnavmi in the class.
Children enjoyed eating poori,
channa and halwa during their
lunch break and enjoyed the
celebration.
The primary section made
beautiful posters on this
auspicious occasion of Ram
Navmi.
WORLD SPARROW DAY
Sparrows play an important role in
environmental balance as they feed
their young ones with insects called
alpha and catworm. These insects
are extremely dangerous for crops.
They kill the leaves of crops and
destroy them. We will therefore lose
productivity, if this chain is
disturbed. But human activities
have disturbed the natural habitat
of this bird leading it towards its
extinction. If necessary steps are not
taken up we may not see “our
gauraiya” in the coming years.
To highlight this issue of concern,
World Sparrow Day was celebrated
on March 20, where students made
beautiful bird feeders to give
sparrows a place to live. This activity
also helped students understand
that every species has a very
important role to play in nature and
extinction of any will harm nature.
WORLD HEALTH DAY
World Health Day was celebrated at United
World Campus on 7th April 22 wherein students
were sensitized to remain healthy by eating
nutritious food, fruits and vegetables. The theme
for World Health Day 2022 is Our Planet, Our
Health.
A Special Assembly was conducted (both In Pre-
Primary and Primary) to make the students
aware about the importance of Good Health and
Well-being (SDG 3). The students were told
about the benefits of physical exercises by doing
Yoga. The Pre-Primary students also recited
rhymes, conveying the message of healthy
eating habits and the correct way of brushing
teeth and keeping the surroundings clean. A
talk on the topic Healthy Mind Dwells in a
Healthy Body’ shed light on the importance of
healthy eating habits, adequate rest and
hygiene was explained.
The pre -primary teachers did a role play where
they emphasized the importance of healthy
food. Students learnt about common health
problems, with an emphasis on good eating
habits and the importance of sports & exercise
in our daily lives. Students also pledged to keep
their mind and bodies healthy.
INTERNATIONAL LABOUR DAY
City Montessori School, United World Campus, celebrated
Labour Day on 2nd May 2022. On this occasion, students
were informed and educated about the importance of
Labour Day.
A special assembly was conducted by primary section
wherein students were taught and were apprised about the
devotion and contribution of the workers who ensure the
prosperity, strength and well-being of any organisation and
in turn the Nation.

celebrating multifarious cultures and a
festival which symbolizes the unity of an
international community, which our
school takes pride in.
To commemorate the occasion of Eid, the
students prepared a presentation
enlightening others about the spirit
behind the festival.
At the end, all the students and teachers
expressed their happiness and wished
"Eid Mubarak" to all.
MALARIA DAY
"Cleanliness is next to Godliness."
Malaria day is celebrated to spread awareness
among the people about the causes and
measures taken to prevent malaria. The
celebration of malaria day started from the
assembly itself.
The assembly was conducted by Ms.Shubhi and
the children of class III A. They started with an
energetic yoga followed by the prayer and
pledge. Thereafter, the presentation for Malaria
Day was taken up where Ms. Shubhi made an
attempt to make learners aware of the fact that
what Malaria is, what are its causes, symptoms
and measures to prevent the same. The children
also took part in the discussion putting their
variable inputs.
The importance of hygiene in our life was again
drilled into the minds of children. They were
motivated to take care of themselves and their
family and friends. They were informed about
the small measures that can be taken as
precautions.
EASTER FESTIVAL
"The festival Easter has a very old history. The festival marks the joyful
end to the Lenten season of fasting and penitence. It marks the
Resurrection of Jesus three days after his death by crucifixion.
The children of pre-primary celebrated Easter by Colouring Easter egg
activity. The meaning of Easter was explained to children by showing
them videos and also the pictures were shown how they can make the
eggs colourful. They were given sheets with egg made on it and they
were asked to color.
The little ones had a perfect time and the glimmering faces looked so
spontaneous and excited. Such activities develop communication skills
along with community development, character education and the
fundamentals of culture belongingness.
EARTH DAY
“The Earth is what we all have in common.”
—Wendell Berry
Earth day is celebrated to spread awareness among the people of the
importance and condition of earth at present and how we can save earth.
The celebration of earth day started from the assembly itself.
The children presented skit on save trees and an action song on how to save
the environment and cope up with the changing scenario of the earth. They
also focused on the three R's of waste management that are, reduce, reuse
and recycle. Afterwards the students took a pledge to do all that they can to

road safety rules.
The children were told about rules of
traffic and how to follow traffic lights.
The children learnt to identify the
color representation of the lights and
how it is followed by everyone. The
demonstration by the teachers with
the help of Jam board and props was
done to explain children how to be
safe on road and follow traffic rules.
Such activities develop
communication skills along with
community development and
character education.
NATIONAL PET DAY
National Pets' Day was celebrated at CMS UWS campus to
generate a feeling of empathy among the students towards the
pets, to let the students know how important pets are for us, and
they should be treated like a family because they are a part of our
lives but to the pets we are their life.
The pre-primary students brought their favourite animal soft toy
and eloquently spoke about it. A video was played by the teacher
to kindle the emotion in all the students. A child spoke a few lines
on his pet and also emphasized to look after stray animals. We
should always remember one thing that we humans can speak
about our pains, get it cured in some way or the other whereas the
animals cannot. So the assembly ended with a powerful oath that
we all should love our pets and give them ample amount of
warmth to live happily.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE DAY
"The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool."
-William Shakespeare
23rd April celebrated globally as English Language Day marks the birth and
death anniversary of the great playwright, poet and writer William Shakespeare.
The day aims to promote awareness about the history, culture and achievements
associated with the language. This day is annually celebrated by the United
Nations. An interesting fact that needs to be noted is that 1500 years ago, only
three tribes spoke English, whereas now it is spoken by around 2 billion people.
About 75 countries have given official status to this language. We celebrated this
day by organising an Inter house Spell Bee Competition and letting the students
know about this day and the importance of this language in our lives. The
students were also briefed about William Shakespeare. It was a learning day
filled lots of fun and also with churning of brains enhancing critical thinking and
communication skills. We aspire to achieve and learn more.
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
– C.S. Lewis
MOTHERS DAY
Mother is the name for God in the lips
and hearts of the children. Mothers' Day
is the special time of the year when we
get to celebrate our first best friend and
the person we always turn to when we
need advice.
Tiny tots of Pre Primary used different
ways of expressing their love and
appreciation towards their mothers.
Montessori children were given take
aways where they made bouquet with
their hand print cut outs.
Kindergarten and Nursery kids made
beautiful cards out of raw macaroni and
wrote their feelings on the DIY card.
Aim of this activity was to develop
respect, honor and love towards mother.
It is celebrated to remember the
sacrifices of mother and give emphasis
to the motherly figure around the world.

SPIRITUAL ASSEMBLY
“The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and the acceptance of
love.”-
A spiritual assembly was conducted in CMS United World Campus on 26th
April to inculcate the feeling of spirituality in all the students.
The assembly started with the school prayer, followed by a devotional song,
pledge and some spiritual activities. The assembly basically focused on
making the students aware of the meaning of worshipping God. They were
told about different books of different religions and that they all give the
same message. In the assembly some quotes from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita
were read out and explained to students. Students were dressed up as
different personalities. The students were told why it is important to follow
the manifestations of God.
A SESSION ON GOOD TOUCH BAD TOUCH FOR
PRE-PRIMARY
The children of class Kindergarten learnt about good touch and bad touch
in their My Safe Circle class.
The children were told about what makes their safe circle or whom to
report when there is an alarming situation. The children learnt to identify
the “No touch” areas and also learnt to say ‘NO’ to unwanted touches by
running away and shouting out loud. The demonstration by the teachers
with the help of a swimsuit gave a clear picture of the “No Touch Areas" to
the children.
The motto of the session was to enlighten the children that their body
belongs to them and they need to stay safe and secure.
WELLNESS SESSION BY MS. DARA FELDMAN
The greatest minds are capable of the greatest vices as well as of the
greatest virtues. They are the building blocks of our lives.
Ms. Dara came to the campus to rejuvenate the teachers with all her
positivity and joyfulness. The workshop was organised for the
teachers for their own well-being, to remind them why being happy
and healthy is of utmost importance for everyone. The workshop
began with a calming song. Later on, it moved to more informal
communication among the teachers and also including the activities
like dance, music, laughter and pairing.
The teachers were guided to choose their partners and share
something they are looking up to in the coming year. With these
activities, teachers were able to open up their feelings to their peers.
The activity proved to be fruitful as the teachers enjoyed a lot and felt
relaxed and happy after the workshop.
SESSION ON MORAL TEACHING BY DR. SOHAIL
MOHAJER
“We are all born as empty vessels and can be shaped by moral values.”
With this vision, Respected Sohail Mohajer Sir visited our campus to
apprise our teachers about how to make Moral Teaching classes
interesting and effective. The session began with the prayer. Sir told
the teachers the importance of Moral Education in the life of a
student. He also linked Moral Education with the 6Cs and Vision 2025.
He shared many examples of how a teacher can shape a student’s life
in a positive or negative manner. He emphasized the need of ensuring
that all the teachers should be the role models for the students.
We can’t thank Sir enough for this informative and thought provoking
session.

and guided them how their contribution will bring a positive
change.
FOOD DISTRIBUTION DRIVE
It is rightly said by Mother Teresa, "If you can't feed a hundred
people then feed just one."
With this noble thought, we requested the parents to share one meal
with the poor and pitiable people who live on the streets.
Each student brought 5 Pooris and some Potato vegetable (freshly
prepared) neatly packed in foil paper. The teachers, along with a few
students, went near Hanuman Setu Temple to distribute the food
packets to the underprivileged people. This way the students did their
bit to promote SDG 2 ( Zero Hunger) and came forward to help the
community and learnt a valuable lesson , ' Sharing is Caring.'
