PINK COLOUR DAY
The Pre-Primary Section celebrated Pink Day .It was wonderful to
see our children bloom and blossom in different shades of pink.
The young ones came dressed in pink colour and brought pink
coloured objects. All the pink colour objects were displayed in the
class and children were introduced to the different shades of
pink. A Show and Tell activity was conducted which helped
children in enhancing their communication skills. The activity
boosted their confidence and was a fun filled vocabulary and an
impromptu speaking session.
One Act Play
Class V students of CMS United World Campus took part in DramSoc, a
society made under the flagship of CMS, for showcasing the acting
talents of the budding artists. They did the seminal short play titled “The
Beggar and the King” by Winthrop Parkhurst.
A few lessons that the play left us all with, are encapsulated as-
• In life kindness is more important than wisdom and the recognition of
this is the beginning of wisdom.
• A heart filled with compassion and love for our fellow human beings is
the greatest gift we can give to the world.
The children won the hearts of the erudite audience by their alluring
performances . Ms. Sushmita Sengupta and Ms. Mohika Kohli were the
directors of the play from behind the scenes.
Recognition is a reward in itself. Any form of appreciation,
even a small word, is important.
The starting point of all achievement is desire. If one has the desire
to succeed, one surely will. With this in mind and to boost the
morale of the students, CMS United World Campus, held its Merit
Certificate Distribution Ceremony on 12th November 21, in the
school auditorium. It was the time to applaud and reward the
students for their sincere efforts during the first term session. The
school honoured all its achievers for having attained a sterling
record in the academic domain. All the meritorious students who
secured first to ten positions in each section, were given a merit
certificate and a cash reward.
Respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Kanika Kapoor, gave away the
certificates and motivated the winners to go ahead to achieve their
heart’s desire . She appreciated the efforts put in by the students
and wished them to come through with flying colours in future too.
Achievement
Fantasm Organized by
CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I
Mediocrity knows nothing
higher than itself; but
talent instantly recognizes
genius.
Heartiest congratulations
to our Shining Star ⭐✨
It is a moment of
immeasurable elation for
us when Aarav Sahai of
Kindergarten secured
the Second Runner up
position in Fantasm, an
online Competition which
was organized by CMS
Rajendra Nagar
Campus I. The
competition comprised of
many events. Aarav
Sahai participated in
Super Actores, wherein
the participants had to
role play the character of
any superhero. Aarav Aarav Sahai
portrayed the character of Class-KG B
Hulk and mesmerized all Event : Super Actores
by his explicit
performance.
ACTIVITIES
BLUE NUDGE
Blue Nudge is a unique
platform that helps learners
become more responsible
towards the earth. Its mission
is to incorporate sustainable
learning opportunities into the
daily life of the learners,
including health and
environmental sustainability.
CMS is strongly supporting this
program by encouraging its
students and staff members to
actively participate in this
campaign.
CMS United World Campus
recently became an active
member of the Blue Nudge
Program. Students are being
encouraged for collecting milk
pouches, tetra packs, chips
packets and also they are
being told how they are
contributing towards a
sustainable life by becoming an
eco warrior.
This drive has definitely made
us realize the importance of
sustainability and how we can
create something useful out of
the waste which we are
collecting.
Educational Trip
A Field Trip
(Hook Activity)
Field trips can create wonder
and excitement for learning, so
teachers should leverage field
trips as a tool to launch
research. The students of class
III A were taken on a field trip
as a hook activity for their
Experiential Learning
Project(based on Monuments).
This field trip enhanced what
the students were doing in the
class. The students were able
to transfer that information from
the outside of school
experience, back to the
classroom. It connected
students to the real-world and
provided students with real-
world experience. The students
were taken for a tour to the
monuments like the Bada
Imambara, the Chhota
Imambara, the Teele ki Masjid
and to the Residency. The
children were taken inside the
Residency, where they noted
down the important
information and some
interesting facts about it. In all,
nothing beats an exciting
hands-on experience to
deepen learning. The magic of
a field trip opened children's
minds to new things and made
the students eager to take up
the Experiential Learning
Project.
"Games re nature s beautiful creation"
Sports and games offer
children a change from
the monotony of the four
walls of the classrooms.
They are also useful
means of entertainment
and physical activity for
them. Keeping in mind
the physical fitness of the
children, the students are
now being taken weekly
to the neighbourhood
park where they enjoy
playing games like Dodge
Ball and Catch - the- Ball
with great enthusiasm
and zeal. The little ones
have fun while indulging
in sports activities.
HOTS QUESTIONS
Questions based on Higher-
Order Thinking Skills put
advanced cognitive demand
on students. They encourage
students to think beyond
literal questions. Higher-
order questions promote
critical thinking skills
because these types of
questions expect students to
apply, analyse, synthesize,
and evaluate information
instead of simply recalling
facts. That is why School
has started the system of
putting up HOTS questions,
subject wise, regularly on the
notice board. The students
come to read the questions
and write their answers on
sticky notes. The students
who do not know the answer
write the note ,”I need help”,
this way the teacher can
further elaborate and explain
about that concept once
again in the class .

Montessori Apparatus Wield: Number Rods
To increase the
concentration of
children, the students
revised the concept of
Subtraction verbally.
The students were
introduced how to use
number rods for addition
and subtraction.
The students were
given a sum and had to
use the number rods for
solving the same.
The answers were
written by the students
on the Jamboard.
Overall it was an
energetic and a fun-filled
class.
OFFLINE ASSEMBLIES
Assemblies are an important
feature of School’s routine.
They also form a significant
part of the school’s
curriculum. They are a
means to create a positive,
reflective ethos and promote
value-based education.
At CMS United World
Campus, each class takes
turns to conduct the
assembly everyday. The
children take up the charge
of conducting the assembly
under the supervision of the
class teacher and subject
teachers . It starts with the
prayers and is followed by
the school pledge, CMS
Vision, CMS Mission and
CMS Motto. Children
perform skits on social and
moral issues. Devotional
songs are an integral part of
the school assembly. They
take up different activities
like Unity and Peace prayer,
Speeches, Quizzes.
Turncoat, etc. Here are a few
glimpses of the assemblies
that were conducted in the
month of November .
