A LETTER FROM TAG

To our customer’s,

TAG was founded in 2001 in San Diego, CA, and originally started as a retail
business that supplied high-end tactical equipment to military and law
enforcement units in the local area. Shortly after opening the doors, all of our
lives changed as the Global War on Terrorism took front and center stage for
every American and our allies worldwide. 6 days after 9/11, I was deployed
overseas for combat operations. Upon my return, TAG’s business focus shifted
to help support what would ultimately become the longest continuous ground
war the US has ever been engaged in. TAG quickly expanded and opened two
more retail locations outside of Camp Pendleton, CA and Fort Bragg, NC.

In 2009 I met with Bill Hudson, then President of LC Industries, whom after
our first meeting offered to purchase TAG and help the company expand. This
expansion was not only for its manufacturing capabilities but for TAG’s ability
to reach a broader market, making it easier for end users to get our products.

After taking a tour of LC Industries main headquarters facility in Durham, NC
and seeing for myself a company whose purpose and continuing goal is to
provide people who are blind with a place of employment, opportunities to
learn job skills, and the training to develop a job into a rewarding career, I said
“Yes” on the spot.

In 2010, TAG became TAG by LC Industries, continuing to excel with desire,
drive, honor and passion. Our team is the best in the industry. If not for their
behind the scenes efforts, the TAG products you are buying, the website you
are shopping on, and the customer support you receive would not exist. I
would like to publicly acknowledge my team and thank them for all of their
efforts.

Our nation is lucky to be able to sleep under a blanket of freedom at night. The
price for that freedom is not always paid for on foreign soil by our troops, but
on a dimly lit street somewhere in your hometown by our law enforcement and
others. However, the price for that freedom is the same; sacrifice, commitment

DESCRIPTION

TAG’s® Vanguard plate carrier sets the standard in the industry for what a plate should be. The
Vanguard is a light weight plate carrier that works with any set of hard armor plates and soft
armor backers. SAPI, ESAPI, XSAPI, standalone level 4, swimmer cut and shooter cut armor
plates all fit into the Vanguard. The triple magazine front panel is sewn into the carrier and will
fit 30 round 5.56mm, AK47, and 7.62 x 51 magazines. You will never need to change out your
magazine pouches again when using different weapon platforms.

Another unique feature the Vanguard has that separates it from all other plate carriers is
the ability to swap out the cummerbund systems. TAG® has a licensing agreement with Crye
Precision® for the use of the Skeletal™ cummerbund. You can choose from our standard
cummerbund or choose the Skeletal™, for the same price. The cummerbunds are fully
adjustable and swapping them out is easy with our G Hook™ attachment system.

The Vanguard has built in padded and fully adjustable shoulder straps. The tops of the shoulder
straps have both nylon webbing and elastic webbing for mounting and routing tourniquets,
hydration tubes, radio antennas, handsets, comm wires, V Lites®, and strobe lights. Spacer
mesh is used on the inside of the Vanguard for increased breathability and comfort. Matching
Velcro® loop covers the upper front and back portions of the carrier for any size Velcro® placards.
Strong drag handle that Velcro’s down and out of the way when not in use. Berry Compliant,

TAG’s® Standard Cummerbund system comes in multiple sizes for all body types. The
cummerbund attaches to our Vanguard and IHV plate carriers. The Standard Cummerbund
easily attaches with G Hooks™. There is an opening in the back of the Standard Cummerbund
for soft armor inserts.

The side facing the body of the wearer is covered in Spacer Mesh for added comfort and
breathability. The inside is also covered in MOLLE rows for adding pouches and side armor

fit into the IHV. The front panel is removable and comes in multiple configurations. This gives
you the ability to quickly change your loadout for different mission profiles. The IHV is ultra-
configurable and offers more options than any other plate carrier on the market.

reassembly seamless and easy. The RIHV’s pull handle is conveniently located on the lower right
portion of the shoulder strap. The RIHV has and internal stopper for the cable system which
only needs to be pulled 4” before the carrier cuts away. All of the components stay with the vest
making the RIHV a self-contained fully releasable plate carrier.

TAG’s® Plate Carrier hit the market over a decade ago. This was our very first plate carrier and is
still going strong. The Plate Carrier will accommodate any size hard armor plate. The pocket for
the plates will keep your plates covering your vital areas regardless of the size of your plates.
The plate pocket straps are fully adjustable ensuring the front plate stays 1” below your sternal
notch and the back plate stays up high, which provides maximum protection for your spine and
lungs.

The shoulder pads are removable and curved to stay away from your neck for added comfort.
Built in side plate pockets can accommodate side plates up to 7” H x 6.5” W. The elastic
cummerbunds are covered in nylon to protect the elastic for years and years of uses and abuse.

TAG’s® Fugitive Armor Carrier was created after more than 2 years of active feedback from
local and federal fugitive task forces. The Fugitive is designed as a daily use carrier to fit most
department issued soft armor. Full size hard armor plates can be added to this carrier. The
plate pockets inside the fugitive that will carry small through large plates and are held securely
in place with the fully adjustable plate strap.

The inside portion of the vest is made with spacer mesh for added comfort and breathability.
Both the shoulder and cummerbund elastic straps are double layered. Generous portions

DESCRIPTION

TAG’s® Intrepid Chest Rig is a full combat load out chest rig. This chest rig gives you the ability to
carry up to 8; 5.56mm magazines and up to 4 pistol magazines. Single and double stacked 9mm,
.40cal, or .45 ACP magazines all fit into our multi-caliber pistol pouches. These pouches are also
great for multi-tools or folding knives.

The Intrepid makes it possible run dual comms, carry 2 frag grenades, 7.62 linked ammunition,
or flash bangs. The center of the main body opens for map, signal panel, and comm plans. It can
also be used to carry your pistol if desired. Pile tape is sewn to the magazine pouches so you can
add the chemlight strips (good for 12 gauge shells as well) or tear them off when not needed.
The Intrepid chest rig comes with 5 removable strips.

The 2 outer radio pouches will hold PRC-148 and 152 models. The bottom of the radio pouches
open up so you can change the radios batter with taking it out of the pouch. The Intrepid is fully

TAG’s® Gladiator Chest Rig w/Bib provides you more flexibility during different types of combat
operations. From full armor carriers down to lighter plate carriers, this chest rig is fully
adjustable to fit over all of them. 6 internal magazine pouches along the front with shock cord
and easy to grab pull tabs hold one 30 round 5.56mm magazine each.

There are three pockets along the top edge to allow easy access to the storage compartment
inside the body of the chest rig. The chest rig has long fully padded shoulder straps for added
comfort. The back of the Gladiator has a built in hydration carrier with PALS webbing for
additional MOLLE pouches if needed. This design is perfect for operators who want a lower and
the ability to carry water in one integrated unit.

The Gladiator also has a fold down bib for adding small admin type pouches. There are loops
sewn into the body of the chest rig for hanging different items such as chemlights, carabineers,

DESCRIPTION

TAG’s® Advanced Loadout Bag is the largest and one of the most sophisticated pieces of gear
TAG manufactures. Built from the ground up and designed for large gear load outs needed
for overseas deployments. TAG’s Advanced Loadout Bag is made with 1000 denier fabric for
durability, water repellent, and abrasion resistance. Inside the bag there are 5 tear out bags
that have hook and loop attachments so they can be stuck in place with in the bag. 2 large bags
attach to the floor of the bag and 3 small ones that Velcro® to the back wall of the bag.

Large cargo pockets are sewn to the outside of the bag for extra gear storage if needed. Heavy
duty handles are sewn to the body of the bag. One is sewn directly onto the frame so you are
not putting stress on the bag while moving it. There is also a handle sewn to the bag on the edge
near the center. This handle allows you to pull the lid closer to you while zipping it shut so if the
bag is over loaded the zipper will not break by accident. There are 2 clear view windows on the
bag so you can easily mark and identify your bag when you get to you final destination.

The frame is 6061 aircraft grade aluminum with thick tube walls to prevent the frame form
bending or warping under heavy loads. The frame has wheel wells covering the wheels.
This helps support the weight of the bag when rolling and acts as a guard in case something
punctures the bag from the inside. The axle for the wheels is one solid piece that runs through

TAG’s® Aircraft Grade Aluminum Frame (AGAF) is lighter and much stronger than the original
ALICE frame. Made using 6061 aircraft grade aluminum tubing this frame will not break under
load. Slots have been cut into the frame to work with any and all kidney pads and shoulder

The 2 center bars are bent away from your back and designed to fit around your hard armor
plates. This design also helps to keep the frame off your back, and to create more airflow when

DESCRIPTION

TAG’s® Jumpable Recon Ruck is made for long range extended field operations. The body of this
ruck is the same size as the old military large mountain ruck but that is were the similarities end.
There are 8 external pouches sewn to the ruck. The bottom 3 in the center are sized to work
with all military static and free fall harnesses. The 2 pockets on the left and right sides are edge
sewn to allow skis, ski poles and snow shovel handles to be securely stowed when not needed.

The pouch on top of the ruck is removable and made for ruggadized field laptops. The pouch
can be quickly removed and carried via hidden shoulder carry strap. The ruck has a large
opening with rain fly and draw string closure. There are 100oz. bladder pockets sewn to inside
left and right sides of the pack. Each side has an opening for the hose allowing you to drink while
on the move.
