On behalf of the SMSDC and the Board of Directors, welcome to the
Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council’s 2019 Premier

Randall Anderson, TOYOTA
Welcome to SMSDC’s 2019 Premier Face Time Expo!
June is here, which means we’re already at the halfway point of 2019. Quick
reality check: how are you coming along on your company’s priorities for the
year? What about your own professional goals?
Whether it’s your first time attending, or you’ve never missed a year, The
Premier Face Time Expo is the perfect forum for us all to pause, assess
and recalibrate for business growth and sustainability. Empowering and
developing regional entrepreneurs, SMSDC’s annual conference remains a
leader in exploring how to successfully identify, navigate and capitalize on
your business opportunities.
In today’s progressively globalized and multicultural economy, industry
changes and technological advances are among several factors that push
us to work differently every day. Last year, our President, Akio Toyoda,
challenged Toyota Team Members in 27 countries to join him to “Start Your
Impossible” in all aspects of our lives. To make impossible possible through
innovation and passion, to overcome challenges and make dreams come
true, and to provide mobility for all. The Premier Face Time Expo serves as
an important channel to help start YOUR impossible.
Toyota is proud to again support this event as Title Sponsor. As Toyota’s
Texas footprint has steadily expanded, we look forward to strengthening
our relationship with SMSDC as we work together to create even more
opportunities for diverse entrepreneurs throughout the region and start our
impossible, together.
Over the next couple of days, you’ll discover countless possibilities to think
more innovatively and challenge the status quo in how we work together. We
appreciate you making this such an important and meaningful event. Here’s
to another productive and inspiring conference! After all “impossible” is
really just “I’m possible”.

JASON REYES
President
Blend a persistent desire to succeed and an ability to cultivate
strong relationships, and you have just described Jason Reyes.
As President of Reyes Automotive Group and Reyes Amtex
Automotive, Jason values and places high importance on his
staff of over 400 employees, who help him drive the business
forward every day.
It is this family-oriented mindset that provides the backbone
for the company’s corporate culture, and has enabled Jason
to serve successfully as its leader. After moving back to San
Antonio from Los Angeles in 2006 after working in finance for
the film industry, he joined forces with his father Fernando
Reyes and built Reyes Automotive Group. The automotive
manufacturer currently serves as a tier one supplier with
Toyota, creating world-class interior and exterior components
for the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma pick-up trucks produced at
the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas plant in San Antonio.
With a new manufacturing plant in Mexico on the horizon for
2019, Jason is planning for the future direction and growth of
the company.
Jason also believes in paying it forward in his community. He
volunteers his time as a committee chairperson for the annual
Zoo Ball Gala, a fundraiser that drives awareness of the San
Antonio Zoo’s conservation efforts. He also works with several
local and national charities, including the San Antonio Food
Bank, United Way, Communities in Schools, Night to Shine,
Angel Tree, Habitat for Humanity, and the Rey Feo Scholarship
Foundation.
Staying active in the local business community is a top priority
for Jason. He is a member of the San Antonio advisory board
for banking institution BBVA Compass. He is also active with
several business associations, including the San Antonio
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the San Antonio Manufacturing
Association, and the Blue Grass Automotive Manufacturing
Association. He is also a corporate member of the Southwest
Minority Supplier Development Council.
Jason received his bachelor’s degree in history from the
University of Southern California. When he isn’t busy running
his growing company, he enjoys golfing, rugby, and spending
time with his wife Cindy and their two children, who attend Saint
Mary’s Hall. He resides in San Antonio.

TOGETHER over 110,000 customers save money and energy each summer with SmartHours®. Just shifting a
little more usage to off-peak hours has resulted in more than 154 MW of energy savings. What’s more, over half
of the schools in Oklahoma have switched to SmartHours, saving over $2 million combined.
TOGETHER over 100,000 customers have participated in
energy efficiency programs and 310 Oklahoma schools have
saved more than 11 million kWh—bringing our total savings
to over 390 million kWh. That’s enough power alone to
serve almost 27,000 homes.
And soon, OG&E’s new Home Energy Efficiency Program
will make saving energy easier, with a FREE online Home
Energy Profile. You may qualify for a free In-Home Energy
Assessment, including an analysis of your home, up to 10
LED bulbs, power strips and a custom Home Energy Report.
We’ll even have rebates on energy-saving projects like A/C
tune-ups, insulation upgrades, air sealing and more.
TOGETHER our customers and OG&E are driving the electric
vehicle EVolution, from plug-in hybrid EV solutions, which run
on electricity and gas, to all-electric cars.
TOGETHER we’ve made Oklahoma the electric energy model for the future, keeping rates among the nation’s
lowest while delaying the need to build incremental fossil fuel generation. Working together, our potential is
positively bright.
