FROM THE DESK OF PRESIDENT

Today our country is on the threshold of a giant leap in the world of trade,
commerce and industry. Against this encouraging background, AISCO
is keen to serve as a guiding medium to our community, specially the
younger generation for the purpose of promoting entrepreneurship.
Keeping this motive in mind , I hereby appeal to our members to
contribute informative and inspiring articles related to business, finance
and economy for our Samyukta Saraswat bulletin.

I am happy to mention here, that we have taken initiative in organizing Entrepreneurship
Development seminar in Mumbai and this is our humble beginning to establish Saraswat
Chamber of Commerce in near future.

Also, our Cultural Committee is planning to organize a grand event in the month of July
to celebrate the 80th birthday of renowned Bollywood actor Shri Manoj Kumarji alias
Shree Harikrishna Giri Goswami in Mumbai and I am confident that all AISCO members
across the country will come forward and make this event memorable.

Appeal to All The Saraswats

It is said “Charity begins at home”

One of our AISCO members Mrs. Vidya Gaitonde has proved this
saying. She has made a generous gesture by donating
Rs.25,000/- in the memory of her respected & beloved father
late Shrirang D. Varerkar who had been active and helpful in various
services in our community, all his life. This deed will go a long way, inspiring others,
to be helping hand to our community, in accomplishing its various goals.
