To learn nowadays
: Hybrid learning has change student mindset about studies.

INTRODUCTION

I. According to a study being made in 2021 by student voice matter consist of 761
Malaysian student between the age of 13 – 21 shows that 58 percent of the student
prefer hybrid class or also known as blending learning, 35 percent prefer full face to
face classes and only 7 percent prefer full online classes.

II. Most of the student that prefer online class are form 1 student, diploma level and
degree level students.

III. As we know this kind of learning method exist because of the global pandemic that
happen since 2020 and it is still being implemented until today.

IV. How many of you still not adapt to online class?
V. what if in few months’ times another global pandemic happen and shut the whole world

once again?
VI. Will you be okay with another long-term hybrid class or you guys will have enough of

it and quit your studies?

BODY
A. In my opinion the main reason why student prefer hybrid learning because of the

flexibility of classes. It is because student is allowed to set their own learning pace
without any additional pressure.
I. Students can easily attend lectures when it is convenient for them because they

have access to recorded videos and online reading material.
II. It also provides students with more time to digest study material and complete work

or research at their own pace.
III. Some student has problem to catch up with the speed of teaching in face-to-face

classes so online classes have become the solution that they want.
IV. However, student make it clear that they prefer for presentation to be mad face to

face. They don’t have to go through hard work of record and edit their video
presentation.
V. Technical issues such as a slow internet connection or a lack of proper technical
infrastructure may interfere. Face to face presentation save them from facing this
problem.

B. Students prefer hybrid learning because it allows them to retain elements that they
appreciate from both online and offline classes.

I. Student can learn about a lot of online platform such as Canva, TikTok, Instagram
and many more that can help to make their presentation more creative and
interesting.

II. Hybrid learning is enjoyable for extrovert student because even thought they have
to study online they still get the benefits of meeting up with their friends.

III. As we know during full online learning sometimes it is quite hard for student to
reach their lecturer to ask question after the class because they may be busy with
their personal life at home. Hybrid learning allow student to meet the lecturer face
to face to get direct answer from them.

IV. I believe that by regaining benefits by both online and offline learning can lead to
a better quality of student in the future. It will make this student more independent,
confident and creative.

CONCLUSION

I. In a nutshell, Today we have learned the reason of why students nowadays choose
hybrid learning. We also can see hybrid learning as future of education.

II. Student can learn with their own pace and digest the information that is being teach
and given to them better than listening in face-to-face classes. It also helps some
unfortunate student that don’t have the luxury of high technology gadget and quality
internet connection. They can also gain benefits from both online and offline class
to improve themselves to become a better student.

III. Hybrid learning is changing the way we think about education and removing many
of the traditional barriers. It can not only give students more flexibility and freedom
in how they learn, but it can also broaden access to education.
