Lot #103005
The Betelgeuse, not that the ship started off with that name,
once belonged to a group of private merchants. During a
traditional voyage the crew received a distress signal from a
settlement on Dathomir. Having heard the stories surrounding
the planet, tensions ran high as the three freighters set
course for the system.
It wouldn’t be long before they began their descent however
they quickly would come to regret their decision. They could
hear the moans and cries for help. Women and children
screaming, though they hadn’t yet reached the planet’s surface
and they never would.
As rumor would have it stories spread about a trio of ships
that was lost in the fog and mists of Dathomir. It was also
widely known that there had never been a settlement
established. The crew had been lured to their own deaths by a
Spirit. Some say they have seen the squadron in space lanes late
at night. They’ve heard the screams and claim to have seen
those that died in the ghostly ships. All they can seem to
agree on now it was the Betelgeuse.
This lot includes three custom JM5000s

Lot #103010
This Foray-Blockade Runner is infamous fr the following tale:
On a nondescript day in Y5, the Foray-Blockade runner Daemon's
Shadow was on a typical job - attempting to smuggle Ryll and other
illegal substances onto an Imperial planet. This time, however, they
were detected by a garrison of TIE/In Starfighters who quickly
alerted a neighboring Victory-class Star Destroyer. A one-sided
battle broke out as Daemon's Shadow attempted to jump to hyper to
evade. The Foray disappeared into hyper, but no one knows where it
went, as the vessel never made another attempt to smuggle its cargo
or return to a friendly station for repairs.
The story of the Daemon's Shadow was forgotten as time passed.
However, in Y12, only a few years ago, the vessel was sighted just
outside Imperial space. The ship was covered in blast marks and was
adrift, with no obvious signs of life detected. The ship was towed
back to a nearby station, where it was left until a team of
investigators could arrive. However, by the time the team arrived,
the ship had apparently slipped its moorings and disappeared. Rumors
of a ghostly crew piloting the Foray soon spread, the most popular
of them being that the crew died due to damage sustained during the
battle and have remained in the ship in an ethereal form.
Every few years, the ship is reportedly sighted, drifting aimlessly
through space, but no one has dared approach it, not wanting to
disturb its ghostly crew.
