EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE
Animals left in vehicles will be monitored by County Control Officers
and Club Members. If animals are in distress due to heat or
any other circumstance, the vehicle will be forcibly entered,
the animal recovered and the owner cited.
ATTENTION EXHIBITORS – Please clean up after your dogs on the show grounds and at
your motel site. We want to retain these facilities for future events. Remember, all complaints
regarding conduct prejudicial to the sport will be dealt with in accordance with AKC Rules
by the Show Committee.
ENTRIES, CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, TRANSFERS

digit security code that appears above your signature on the back of the card. Proof of fax transmission

BEST OF VARIETY COMPETITION • BEST OF BREED COMPETITION
The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed (Variety) Competition: Dogs that are Champions of
Record. Dogs which according to their owners’ records have completed the requirements for a championship but whose champi-
onships are unconfirmed. The entry and showing of dogs whose championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days
from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a championship according to the owners’ records. If at the
end of the 90 day period the championship of a dog has not been confirmed by the American Kennel Club, no further entries of the
dog for Best of Breed competition are to be made until its championship has been confirmed by AKC.
SPECIAL NOTICE – CLUSTER OBEDIENCE TRIAL & RALLY TRIAL
With the approval of the American Kennel Club, Obedience Trial classes and Rally Trial classes at the cluster
will be consolidated to provide maximum efficiency in scheduling and judging. The Judging Program will
include a complete list of breeds to be judged, and the order in which they will be judged. All Specialties in
this Cluster that are offering Obedience Classes and/or Rally Classes will be judged together. Each dog will
be judged and individual scores recorded in the respective breed’s judge’s book. For the group exercises
in Obedience, all breeds will be judged in one group. If there are more dogs competing than can be spaced
four (4) feet per dog on one side of a ring, some must be judged in another group. The judge will divide the
class into equal sections and the group exercise will be judged after each section. Following completion of
group exercises, the judge will complete the judge's books for all dogs entered in each Obedience class in
the respective breed’s judge’s book. Ribbons and awards will then be awarded by breed. Qualifying points
in Obdience are based on the number of dogs in each breed only.
OBEDIENCE TRIAL CLASSES – FRIDAY ONLY
Qualifying Score required for All Prizes in Regular Classes.
A Dark Green Qualifying Ribbon will be awarded for each qualifying score. No refund for bitches in season.
Regular Classes (each day): Novice Class A • Novice Class B • Open Class A • Open Class B • Utility
Class A • Utility Class B. The regular entry fee will be charged for these classes. The particular class you
desire to enter must be shown on the entry form. Dogs entered in the breed classes may also be entered
in these classes by paying the additional entry fee.
RALLY TRIAL CLASSES – FRIDAY ONLY
Qualifying Score required for All Prizes in Regular Classes.
A Dark Green Qualifying Ribbon will be awarded for each qualifying score. No refund for bitches in season.

Rally Trial is a separate event. Entry Fee for first Rally class is $24.00. Additional entry fee for a second
Rally class ia $16.00. The particular class(es) you desire to enter must be shown on the entry form.
Dogs entered in the breed or obedience classes, and also entered in these classes MUST pay the First
Entry fee for Rally class.
Exhibitors – Please read AKC Rally Eligibility Regulations CAREFULLY. Determination of eligibility of a dog
in any Rally class is the sole responsibility of the person entering the dog in Rally.

– NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS –
The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors must make themselves
familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks
that accompany this Show Premium List.
• The AKC will collect a $1.50 AKC Event Service Fee and 50 cent Recording Fee for the first entry of a dog in all
AKC licensed and member dog shows, obedience trials, and tracking tests. If a dog is entered in more than one
class in the show, the Event/Recording Fees to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rule. Ch.11, Sec. 2). In
accordance with AKC Rally regulations, the AKC will collect a $3.00 per entry of dog Rally Event Service Fee. A
show-giving club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all Recording Fees and Event Service Fees for AKC.
• CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNA-
TIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS
• No Entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telegraph, e-mail and unsigned
entries cannot be accepted and will be returned. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry
Forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Club and/or its Superin-
tendent assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or
the owner’s agent. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COMPLETENESS OF ENTRY RESTS SOLELY WITH THE ENTRANT.
• RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. The Superintendent will add a $20.00 collection
fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor or agent may
result in their being put on a CASH ONLY BASIS.
• REFUNDS for cancellations due to judge change or cancellations made prior to entries closing will be mailed to
said Exhibitor or Agent AFTER THE SHOW. An administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld from all refunds for
entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.
• FAX ENTRIES – Fax entries will be accepted up to closing time. Fee is $4.00 per dog per show. If the credit card
charge is denied for any reason, an additional service charge of $20.00 will be added. FAX NUMBER: (360) 683-
6654. This is for Fax Machine ONLY. Incomplete or illegible Fax entries are not acceptable as a valid entry in a
show. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt of a legible or complete transmission (under AKC Rule Ch. 11,
Sec. 4). A Fax-Friendly entry blank PDF is available for download at www.BarayEvents.com
• Entries will be acknowledged after entries close with entry acknowledgment and judging program to ad-
dress on entry. Should Exhibitor NOT receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, PLEASE notify the
Superintendent at (360) 683-1507 or email [email protected].
• Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge
or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered
incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for bitches in season. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or
OVERPAYMENTS. The Superintendent will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if entry has been
processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the
management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. To find out about any
AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline 877-252-3229.
• Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.
• Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish
any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog
holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.
• Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs.
• LOSS OR DAMAGE – The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors,
but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs
or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor’s child is assumed to be the responsibility
of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children.
• Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal
and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
• TROPHIES & PRIZES will be awarded in the ring to the person exhibiting the dog. No awards will be mailed.
• ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are
vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club. All
persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show
or participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise
use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. The Club is not responsible for the
actions or products of the commercial vendors at this show.
