Can you believe these deserted bleak walls
Was once pulsing with spirit like drum beats?
The screaming cheers that echo ‘round the halls
Are walking like those lost ghosts on the streets
Dark hallways so empty and desolate
The empty seats waiting to be sat on
Patiently the objects anticipate
But nothing happens now that we’re gone
Like a container, memories stored in place
Soon it will be buried in nasty grime
How would these fragile things thrive without space,
If even diamonds are subject to time?
If theres hope in the inky words I paint
These eternal memories will not taint
