Center for Borderline Personality and Emotional Disorders (Venice, CA)

Residential Women’s Program – minimum 30-day commitment
• Intensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program, including skills training groups, individual DBT sessions, and phone coaching.
• Other evidence-based treatments include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET), Acceptance and

Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices.
• Staff extensively trained in DBT and other evidence-based treatments.
• Women can step down to our DBT Day or Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program, DBT Outpatient Program, or Transitional Living.

Center for Addictions and Mental Health Disorders (Venice, CA) – For men and women

Residential Primary Care - Dual Diagnosis – minimum 30-day commitment
• Intensive group and individual therapy program.
• Specializes in complex multi-disordered clients.
• Detox services available.
• Evidence-based treatments include DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and EMDR.
• Community 12-step meeting attendance, as well as life skills assistance.
Residential Extended Care - Dual Diagnosis – minimum 60-day commitment
• Designed to slowly transition clients back into independent living through vocational and life skills assistance.
• Intensive group and individual therapy program. Community 12-step meeting attendance.

Outpatient Center (Westwood, CA) – For clients with or without chemical dependency*

DBT Day Treatment (PHP) Program – minimum 30-day commitment
• Intensive DBT program, including skills training groups, individual DBT sessions, and phone coaching.
• Six to eight hours of treatment each day, five days per week, with evening and weekend phone coaching.
• Other evidence-based treatments include CBT, PET, ACT, and mindfulness-based practices.
DBT Outpatient Program – minimum 3-month commitment
• Treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), substance abuse, and other psychiatric disorders.
• DBT skills training group, individual DBT sessions, and phone coaching available.
• Staff extensively trained in DBT.
Evidence-Based Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) & Outpatient Programs – minimum 1- to 3-month commitment
• Skills-based program for emotional dysregulation (including BPD), interpersonal difficulties, impulsive behaviors, and self-harm.
• In the IOP, clients attend two groups per day, three to five days per week. In the outpatient program, clients attend three to five groups

per week.
• Other services include individual therapy, case management, and psychiatry, as well as EMDR, PET, and Somatic Experiencing.
Individualized Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) & Outpatient Programs – minimum 1- to 3-month commitment
• Process and skills-based program for dual diagnosis, mood and anxiety, and trauma.
• In the IOP, clients attend two groups per day, three to five days per week, plus individual sessions. In the outpatient program, clients may

attend a minimum of two groups, up to several groups per week, combined with individual sessions.
• Psychiatric evaluation and medication management provided. EMDR and Somatic Experiencing available.

Transitional Living & IOP (Venice & Westwood, CA)

• S tructured transitional living environment for men and women with dual diagnosis or mental health disorders, combined with off-site
intensive outpatient program (IOP) services.

Family Programs (Westwood & Venice, CA)

• T hree-day intensive family program for individuals and family members affected by dual diagnosis, with or without a significant
other in treatment at Clearview.

• DBT Skills Course for families, a DBT curriculum that teaches DBT skills to families with loved ones at Clearview.
• Free weekly family support group for any diagnoses, open to the community.
