Sonam Kapoor treated fans with a few throwback pictures which were taken during the shoot of

After working as an assistant director in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2005 drama Black, Son-
am Kapoor made her acting debut in Bhansali's romantic drama Saawariya in the year 2007 with
Ranbir Kapoor. The actress has entertained the audience with many films like I Hate Luv Storys,
Raanjhanaa, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Neerja, Veere Di Wedding, The Zoya Factor and more. The
actress who is quite active on social media has been updating the titbit of her quarantine life. She
has also been on a throwback spree amid the lockdown as she treated fans with some amazing

theaters has yet not been announced. Due
to this many filmmakers are planning to re-
lease their films on OTT platforms. Recently,
Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana
starrer Gulabo Sitabo had been released on the
OTT platform on 12th June 2020. While many
producers are planning to release their film on
OTT, Boney Kapoor plans to stick to the ‘big
screen’. The producer has three films in his kit-
ty- Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan, Valimai (Tamil
actioner starring Ajith Kumar) and Pawan Kaly-
an-starrer Vakeel Saab (Telugu remake of Pink).

Talking about not releasing movies on OTT
platforms, Boney Kapoor said to HT that in
his 40-year-long career (as a film producer), he
must have produced as many films by now, and
all of them have released in theatres. Going by
his experience, he can confidently say that all
kinds of platforms - be it OTT, cinema halls or
television -- will co-exist and thrive as well. He
further added that he strongly believes there
are certain films, which are meant for a larg-
er-than-life, theatrical experience, and so, they
should go to cinema halls first. As for him, he is

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana says he is a huge fan
of Aamir Khans work and that he learnt some-
thing from the superstar even before he stepped
into Bollywood. It is a lesson that has helped him
in his journey to stardom.

Ayushmann shared that he purposely didn't see
the original version of "Shubh Mangal Saavdhan",
which is a remake of the Tamil film "Kalyana Sa-
mayal Saadham", because of the lesson he re-
ceived from Aamir.

"I did not watch the original and still haven't seen
the original! I guess that's my method of going for
a script. If someone offers me a remake, I don't
watch the original, I just read the script. Some-
times the humour, the essence, the emotions are
lost in the translation and it happens more than
often," Ayushmann said.

He added: "Also, I get quite inspired from an actor
when I'm watching the original film. So, its diffi-
cult to bring my own thing to the screen. So, I just
read the script and react to that."

Ayushmann said that he learnt this from Aamir.

"I was an MTV presenter and I remember I was in-
terviewing him for ‘Ghajini'. I asked him this ques-
tion, ‘How is the film different from the original?'
He said, ‘I've not seen the original!' I was really
fascinated. He said he had read the script and it
was great. So, I took that cue and I found that to
be a great lesson!" he said.

Anushka's brother Karnesh says they wanted to work with fresh talent. "We have continuously done so with actors, directors and techni-

very passionate about chasing stories that are off the beaten track and keep searching for such ideas that push the envelope."

Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan Receive Invitation to Join The
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences

The 93rd Academy Awards have been pushed by two months owing to the COVID 19 pandemic
and will be held on April 25, 2021. On Tuesday, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
extended invites to Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan along with 819 others to join them as members.

As per the Academy website, Hrithik and Alia have been selected from Bollywood actors while oth-
ers like costume designer Neeta Lulla, documentary filmmakers Nishtha Jain and Amit Madheshiya,
casting director Nandini Shrikent, visual effects supervisors Vishal Anand and Sandeep Kamal also
have been extended invitations to join the Academy this year to vote for the upcoming Oscars.
Academy President David Rubin said in a statement, “The Academy is delighted to welcome these
distinguished fellow travelers in the motion picture arts and sciences. We have always embraced
extraordinary talent that reflects the rich variety of our global film community, and never more so

Today, Rajkumar Hirani’s film Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor, Dia
Mirza, Anushka Sharma and others completes 2 years. As the film
clocked in 2 years, Dia penned a note and thanked the team for
their support.

2 years back, on June 29, a biopic on the life of Sanjay Dutt,
Sanju released in theatres. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt,
the film managed to chronicle the events in the actor’s life and
portrayed how he struggled and achieved success again. The film
also starred Dia Mirza as Maanayata Dutt, Sanjay’s wife. While
the film was helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, it was produced by him
and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Sanju remained special for fans of San-
jay Dutt and many loved how Ranbir and Dia played the real life
couple on screen.

On the film’s second anniversary, Dia took to social media to pen
a note of gratitude to the team of Sanju. Along with her note,
Dia also shared behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of the
film. In one of the photos, we can see Rajkumar Hirani explaining
scenes to Dia while in another photo, we see Ranbir as Sanju
sitting next to the actress and the other actors. Dia remembered
the shoot days and expressed thanks to everyone associated
with the biopic.

Dia wrote, “Will be forever grateful for the trust, the love and joy

throughout the month of June, the actor has been sharing snippets of
the films he has done over the years. As he comes to the end of his

yaan in which he starred alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film may not have had a blockbuster
success at the box office, but it sure did touch hearts. The film is also
considered to be Abhishek Bachchan's finest performances in recent
years.

The actor also pitched the idea of making a food documentary with
his co-star Vick Kaushal. He wrote, "I have an idea... Anurag, let’s make
documentary on food across India. Vicky and I will host it. Kanika
can write it. You and Anand direct it. Amit will give the soundtrack.
Taapsee will handle all public relations and production ( since she will
