The new Irmàna chooses the single grape variety and, especially, one of the most beloved Sicilian
grape varieties: Grillo. This wine, made from fully ripe, hand-picked grapes and with a bright straw-
yellow colour, reveals the great characteristics of this grape variety: fruity aromas and the scents of
the Mediterranean maquis are accompanied by a rich, fresh and persistent taste on the palate.

What: 100% Grillo
Where: Western Sicily, by the sea / Average 600’ in elevation

Vineyards: Mixed Clay and siliceous soils farmed sustainably
Harvest: Veritcle Shoot Trellis with medium high density planting

By Hand mid-late September

Cellar: Soft pressing, free run juice
Taste: Low temperature fermentation to preserve fresh flavors
Stainless steel sur lees 2 months

Velvety on the palate, with mild tannins, it is very smooth and has an aromatic persistence on the
palate, while the nose is filled with subtle hints of rose and violet. The new design of the Line

inspired by naturalness takes us simply into a world of sky and soil, sun and wind.

Where: Central and Southern Sicily / Average 600’ in elevation

Vineyard: Mixed soild; predominantly limestone / Farmed Sustainably
Veritcal Shoot Trellis or bush trained
Medium-high density planting

Harvest: By Hand mid-late September

Cellar: Cold maceration to bring out freshness of fruit. Soft pressing followed
by extended fermentation at moderate temperature
Stainless steel 1-2 months; additional 60 days in cellar

Taste: Fresh berries, cherries with nuances of roses and violets
Medium in body with soft tannins
