JARER FAWZAN BIN ALI
ALMURTADHA

(012020073123)

hello!INTRODUCTION

My name is Jarer
Fawzan Bin Ali
Almurtadha. I live in
Kuala Lumpur in a
medium terraced house. I
enjoy all types of sports
but mostly football and
futsal. I don't have a
clear career goal but I'm
willing to explore my
options and find the
most suitable career
path for me. Im a very
quiet person and enjoy
listening rather than
talking to people.

Best regards,

Jarer Fawzan

PRINCIPLE IN TEACHING

Teaching means a lot currently as it
constantly evolves as the world goes
around. The perfect example would be the
pandemic having a major impact in the
teaching world with the introduction of

online learning. Teaching is a very
important job as it is the key to raising and
educating future generations and steering
them into the right path. Teachers are there
to make sure that each person they teach
are a useful human being and contributes

to society to help better the nation they
currently live in. Teaching is to help an
individual to develop in terms of holistic
manner to produce individual who are
intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and
physically balanced. These individuals are
the hope for a better nation and a better
world, and it is unachievable with the lack

of education.

REFLECTION

Microteaching is a simulation and preparation
for teaching in the real world of education. For

students who wants to be a teacher as their
career path must undergo this subject to help
them in depth as to what should and should not

do during teaching when a student has
become a fully-fledged teacher. This subject
has taught me many ways on how to properly
conduct myself before, during and after school
hours. As an upcoming trainee teacher, I need

to know how to properly interact with the
students and most importantly, what to teach
the students. I can’t just teach them anything

because the topics prepared by the
government are appropriate for the student’s
age. It is clear to me know that through this
subject, teaching should be engaging and fun
for the students to gain their knowledge and
attention. It is important to have their attention
during teaching because they might miss some
crucial knowledge that might benefit them in

the future.

REFLECTION

Just as how this subject was engaging for me to
learn, I should make my utmost effort to make the

students engaged in my teaching by providing
various fun activities and teaching materials
with. I also learn a lot from my classmates on

how to make teaching aids and activities to be
more exciting. As it is a must to incorporate 21st

century learning for the students. I’ve learned
that you can use various online tools to help you
teach. Some online tools can even be used in a
physical classroom setting which will make the

students be more interested to study than
reading a textbook or copying what the teacher

wrote from the whiteboard. Speaking of
whiteboard, I also learned from this class how

important the use of whiteboard and good
handwriting is. Students appreciate good
handwriting and an organised whiteboard so it
easier for them to understand. Overall, this
subject has taught me various ways and
strategies to prepare me for the teacher career

that I will face in the future.

Evidence of Lecture

7 SEPTEMBER 2022

Reflection

On this day, madam Nirmala introduces us
the Scheme of Work for the whole semester
and introduces to the DSKP. DSKP is a
government guideline for teachers to use
when teaching. Overall in that days class, we
are introduced to the topic that will be
learned throughout the semester and rough
details about the project that we will be
going through.

Evidence of Lecture

9 SEPTEMBER 2022

Reflection

Madam teaches the difference between
teaching & microteaching. She also
introduced to us what is Content
Standard & Learning Standard and where
to get them. CS & LS should be referred in
DSKP to accurately determine what your
learning objective is.

Evidence of Lecture

14 SEPTEMBER 2022

Reflection

On this day, madam teaches how to properly
write a lesson plan. Lesson plan is used to plan
what activities you are going to teach your
students in the classroom. You need to carefully
select your content standard, learning standard
and learning objective so that it corresponds
with the activites that you will be designing on
your own to make the lesson more engaging.

Evidence of Lecture

21 SEPTEMBER 2022

Reflection

Madam teaches us what is learning
objectives and how to carefully construct
a learning objective. Learning objectives
involves many aspects such as
educational domains to make sure that
the students cognitive, affective and
psychomotor are all responding well to
the activities that the teacher is

Evidence of Lecture

23 SEPTEMBER 2022

Reflection

This was a tutorial day where all of us
who came to class needed to make a
learning objective from the previous
lecture that madam has taught us. Each
of us needed to create 3 learning
objectives correctly so that madam can
assess whether our learning objectives
are correct or not.

Evidence of Lecture

28 SEPTEMBER 2022

Reflection

Madam introduces to the first part of our
project which was set induction for
microteaching. In this topic madam
teaches strategies on how to do set
induction and what activities to design
based on the topic from KSSM so that the
students are more excited to learn.

Evidence of Lecture

5 OCTOBER 2022

Reflection

On this day, madam teaches us the
functionality of teaching aids and how to
create an effective teaching aids
whether it be online or physical classroom
settings. Teaching aids as the same
suggests, is to help teachers with their
lesson and make the students more
excited to learn.

Evidence of Lecture

12 OCTOBER 2022

Reflection

Madam teaches stimulus variations.
Stimulus variations is basically how we
behave that will effect the learning of the
students. The teachers movement and
gestures are one of the key stimulus
variations that will make the students
bored of your teaching or get excited by
it.

Evidence of Lecture

14 OCTOBER 2022

Reflection

This tutorial madam had us demonstrating
what we learned from the previous class
which is stimulus variation. Madam wants
us to come in front of the class and act
how a teacher would act in front of their
students. Madam gave us feedback for
our demonstration so that we can
improve on it.

Evidence of Lecture

2 NOVEMBER 2022

Reflection

Madam teaches question responds. Question
responds are ways a teacher should responds
when a student is asking a question. It is
important to note that teacher are superior in
the eyes of students so if there are any
questions that the teacher doesnt know, it
should be handled profesionally instead of
making a fool of themselves.

Evidence of Lecture

16 NOVEMBER 2022

Reflection

Madam introduces on the closure of the
lesson. Basically what to do when it is
approaching the end of the lesson.
Teachers should prepare a 3-5 minutes of
activity to make the students get excited
for the next lesson.

Evidence of Lecture

30 NOVEMBER 2022

Reflection

Madam teaches us how to use the
whiteboard. Not only is it crucial that our
handwriting is neat so that the students
can read what we wrote, we also need to
be organized when writing on the white
board so that the students can
understand the lesson better.

Evidence of Lecture

2 DECEMBER 2022

Reflection

On this day, madam gives us feedback on
the mock teaching that we did for the
while lesson. Madam gave us useful
feedbacks like how the tone of our voice
is, how exciting the game activities are,
and how we conduct ourselves in a
classroom setting.

Evidence of Lecture

7 DECEMBER 2022

Reflection

On this day, madam gives us feedback on
the blog project presentation that we did
for the project 1. Madam gave us
incredible feedback like how simple our
blog is for the students to navigate and
successfully adding all 4 skills in the
activities that we have created.

EVIDENCE OF PROJECT 1

TASK A

In this first part of the project,
we had to create an

educational game that can
be played by the students. We

created a game called
charades where the students
need to pick a card randomly
provided by the teacher and
the students need to act out
what they have read from the
flashcard. WE incorporated 4
language skills in the game.
Each skills caters to the same
aspect of the game which is

acting out what they read.

EVIDENCE OF PROJECT 1

TASK B

In the second part of the project we had to do a
blog complete with activities from the 4 language
skills. This blog is created for the students to do as
a homework or during their spare time. The blog

has easy navigation for the students and the
activities that we designed caters to the topic of

the English textbook.

EVIDENCE OF PROJECT 2

TASK A

For this first part of Project 2, we
had to do the mock teaching in
sequence. Basically, there are 3
lesson that should be put into one
but for the purpose of simplicity and
time management are split into 3.
They are pre-lesson, while-lesson
and post-lesson. We have done the
mock teaching throughout the
semester and have been graded by
madam fairly. She gave us useful
feedbacks to prepare us for the

upcoming internship.
