2 | Page Tom’s Corner Dear Fellow Owners, As I pen this opening to the first newsletter of the year, I marvel at all that we have accomplished together and look forward to another big year in 2023! The Notre Dame Federal Credit Union national footprint grows larger every day. As we transitioned into the new year we announced the re-branding of our investment operation, Private Member Group, to Mission Investment Services. Our insurance service followed suit, becoming Mission Insurance Solutions. Paired with the 2022 acquisition of Arizona-based Mission Management & Trust Co., these new alignments create a dynamic and integrated brand for our trust, investment, and insurance solutions. We also opened our Elkhart Mortgage Center, expanding our footprint into Elkhart County and positioning ourselves to help more home buyers, especially with our dedicated team’s ability to serve both the English and Spanish-speaking members. The full-service branches in Phoenix and Tucson are now fully operational. In December we partnered with The Phoenix Chamber and the Diocese of Phoenix to host a ribbon cutting ceremony and a rite of blessing performed by The Most Reverend Bishop John P. Dolan. This wonderful event signified the momentum we continue to build with local businesses, non-profits, and churches. These relationships introduce us to more and more prospective members who turn to us to provide the honest advice and financial services that they so desperately need. It is truly a great time to be part of the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union family, and I encourage you to share our credit union story and mission with your friends and family. Inviting others to participate in our financial cooperative not only makes our organization stronger, but it also liberates people otherwise trapped in the impersonal and profit-optimizing jaws of national banks.
