Skulptura 21. veka je kompleksan skup ideja i raznorodnih procesa realizacije, od
figuracije do apstraktnih misli izrazenih kroz instalacije. Iako redje prisutna u savremenom
kontekstu, figuracija je ipak zatupljena u umetnickim delima. Negovanje figuracije kroz
savremenu skulpturu se pokazalo veoma uspešno u okviru Medjunarodne vajarske
kolonije Jasenovo ciji je osnovni koncept figuralna skulptura velikog formata u drvetu.
Medju radovima koji su nastajali na koloniji tokom godina, posebno se izdvajaju tri
skulpture i jedan mural, rad japanksih autora koji su gostovali u periodu od 2017. do
2019. godine. Radovi ovih umetnika se u zbirci izdvajaju, narocito iz razloga što u sebi
nose duh dalekog istoka i u velikoj meri definišu percepciju ambijenta u kome su se sami
umetnici zadesili u Srbiji. Dok jedna skulptura govori o shvatanju i dozivljaju ambijenta u
kome se umetnik zadesio, druga govori o momentu fizicke barijere za ostvarivanje ideja.
Svako delo ponaosob, u kontekstu prethodnih radova autora ima svoj jedinstveni okvir
komunikacije sa publikom. Iako je koncept kolonije takav da se sve skulpture koje su
nastajale na kolonijama izlazu u otvorenom prostoru, zbog svoje delikatne završne obrade
i velike kulturne vrednosti, ovi radovi ostaju da egzistiraju u okviru galerijskog ambijenta.
The 21st century sculpture is a complex set of ideas and diverse processes of
realization, from figuration to abstract thoughts expressed through installations.
Although less present in contemporary contexts, figuration is still represented in
artworks. Nurturing figuration has proven to be very successful through the
International Sculpture colony in Jasenovo, whose basic concept is a large-format
figural wooden sculpture. Among the works that were created at the colony over the
years, three sculptures and one mural stand out – the work of visiting Japanese authors
in the period from 2017. to 2019. These works stand out in the collection, especially
because they reflect the spirit of the Far East and define, to a large extent, the
perception of the environment that the artists faced in Serbia. While one sculpture
speaks about the understanding and experiencing the environment surrounding the
artist, the other one speaks about a physical barrier in the process of the realization of
ideas. Each work individually, in the context of the author's previous work, has its own
unique communication framework with the audience. Although the concept of the colony
is that all the sculptures created in the colonies are exhibited in the open air, due to their
delicate finishing process and cultural values, these works remain to exist within the
gallery spaces.

Rodjen je 1978. godine u oblasti Sizuka (Japan). Osnovne umetnicke studije je zavrsio na
Univerzitetu umetnosti Aichi, 2001. godinie, a Master 2003. na istom univerzitetu. U okviru
stvaralastva izrazava se kroz trodimenzionalan jezik skulpture i slikarstvo. Osnovna umetnicka
perokupacija u stvaralastvu je usko vezana za prikaz ljudske figure i portret.

Moj rad nije baziran na stvaranju medjuljudskih odnosa, odnosa medju licnostima, vec je okrenut
ka introspekciji i trazenju licnosti unutar pojedinca. Unutarnje sopstvo je razvijeno na uspomenama i
emocijama pojedinca koje oslikavaju celovitost covekovog zivota. Osecam lepotu pokreta. Zelim da
nastavim da stvaram lepotu. Istovremeno, moje slike imaju ulogu dnevnika na temu zabelezene emocije na
dan njenog nastanka.
STATEMENT
My work is not a person-to-person face-to-face, but an entrance to the "person" in the person.
The inner face-to-face of oneself works on memories and emotions and makes one recognize life as a
person. I feel the action beautifully. I want to keep making beautiful things. In addition, the painting works
have a role like a diary with the theme of what they felt and noticed on that day.

Rodjen je 1967. godine u Saitami (Japan). Diplomirao je na Univerzitetu umetnosti Masahino 1993. godine, a
usavrsavao se na Umetnickoj akademiji Aichi, 1995. godine. Ucestvovao je na brojnim rezidencijalima, izlagao u
Japanu, Nemackoj, Francuskoj, Irskoj, Sjedinjenim Americkim drzavama. U svojim radovima, najcesce se bavi pitanjem
kretanja i dinamike, stvarajuci kineticku i ambijentalnu skulpturu kroz implementiranje savremenih tehnologija, upotrebe
svetla i poznavanja mehanike.

Rodjen je u Saitama oblasti (Japan), 1970. godine. Diplomirao je lepe umetnosti na Umetnickoj
akademiji Univerziteta Aichi, 1997. godine, a usavrsavao se na odeljenju skulpture istog univerziteta
1999. godine. Od 2009. godine radi u zvanju profesora na Univerzitetu Fukui. Ucestvovao je na brojnim
medjunarodnim simpozijumima i kolektivnim izlozbama. Njegova vajarska ostvarenja nalaze se u brojnim
kolekcijama u Japanu i sire.

Tih je zvuk krila insekata.
Slaba je senka meseca u izmaglici.
Ponekad se javlja u vise oblika.
Uvek menja svoje dimenzije.
Priblizava mi se iz daleka.
Pokupi ono sto je plao pred tebe. Dodirujem ga svojim dlanom kako bih uzivao u osecaju koji pruza.
Takav je osecaj stvaralastva.
Kada se suocavas sa prirodom, postoje trenuci kada osecas protok vremena od najstarijih vremena do
danas. Cilj jeste da svaki put izrazis ta osecanja kao stvorenje koje stoji u vremenu i prostoru.
Zelim da stvorim dela koja imaju snagu tihog i vecitog prisustva, atmosferu, ali i snagu koju covek ima
kada se suocava sa velikim zivotinjama.
Mozda je najtisi zvuk krila insekata.
Mozda je najslabija senka meseca u izmaglici.
Mozda moze menjati svoje dimenzije i oblik.
Mozda je stalno promenljive forme.
Doziva me iz daleka.
Kada padne ispred mene. Ja se sagnem da podignem.
Provlacim kroz prste, osecajuci teksturu.
Stvaralacki poriv je osecaj koji prozima celo moje telo.
STATEMENT
It's a faint insect wing sound.
It's also the shadow of a very dim moon.
It sometimes comes with a variety of shapes.
It's always changing scale.
It reaches from afar in front of me.
Pick up what has fallen in front of you. I'm looking at it with my palm so that I can enjoy the feel.
There is always such a feeling in the body in the process of making things.
When facing nature, there are moments when you can feel the passage of time that has continued
since ancient times. The aim of each time is to express those feelings as beings that stand in the
space and confront themselves.
I want to create works that have a quiet and overwhelming presence, an atmosphere, and a strong
will that you can feel when facing big animals.
It could be the faintest sound of an insect flying.
It could be a hazy shadow of the moon.
It could be in different size and shape.
It could constantly change form.
Reaching me from afar.
When it drops in front of me, I pick it up.
I fondle it in my hands feeling the texture.
Making something always has that feeling spreading throughout my body.

Rodjena je u Indoneziji 1973. godine. Diplomirala je slikartsvo na Aichi univerzitetu 1997/2000.
godine. Dobitnica nagrade za novo lice grada Nagoja, 2009. godine. Osnovni vid umetnickog izrazavanja je
kroz izradu murala i slika velikog formata. Najcesce motive za inspiraciju nalazi u prorodi, kao i tradicionalnim
temama koje su prvenstveno u domenu prikaza biljaka, rastinja i cvetova.
