"The Intrigue of an Affirming Friendship" In a small town, there are three true friends: Frisilia, Didi, and Viona. They have been friends for five years, going through many laughs and hardships together. Their friendship is close, and they motivate each other for their future and happiness. After graduating from high school, life took them in different directions. They decided to continue their education to colleges located in far-flung places. However, they believe that distance will not ruin their friendship.Didi enrolled at a Health Faculty, namely UKIM Ambon, while Viona chose to enroll at the KEMENKES POLTEKKES Kupang City. And Frisilia chose to enroll at Pattimura University PSDKU MBD in Tiakur city. Frisilia, a strong girl with a good heart, full of kindness, and dazzling charm, is a rather quiet type.Frisilia, a patient girl, would rather keep quiet than create conflict in the friendship.
Dika is a smart, funny and friendly girl, who always makes her friends feel happy and comfortable. She is the pillar of stability in their relationship. While Viona, a kind and funny girl, often feels sad because she is far away from her parents. However, she has a nature that is easily provoked by the words of her friends, which often causes problems in their friendship. On the other hand, there is Elma, a girl who seems sweet but is actually cunning. She often pits her friends against each other and makes them feel guilty for their actions. One day when Frisilia was working on her college assignments, her phone suddenly rang, and she immediately grabbed her phone and answered the call.
"Hello Elma, what's wrong?" asked Frisilia to her friend who was calling her, Elma, the sneaky girl. "Hy Frisil, I want to convey something to you about the planning that Dika and Viona did without telling you. The two of them will go on vacation somewhere without inviting you, and that cannot be allowed because they have lied to you".Strictly Elma who seemed to want to pit Frisilia and her two friends against each other. When she heard what Elma said, Frisilia was very angry but she didn't trust Elma that easily, but Elma continued to make the atmosphere hotter and made Frisilia even more angry with Dika and Viona. "I didn't think that Viona and Dika were that cruel and evil towards me, even though I didn't know what the problem was so they made plans without my knowledge. What did I do wrong to them?" said Frisilia with a face full of anger and annoyance.
"Maybe they no longer want to have a friendly relationship with you so they treat you like that, or maybe they are jealous of your love story and decided not to be friends with you anymore? If they want to be like that then you also have to act so that they don't treat you arbitrarily. like that." Elma said as if she wanted Frisilia and her friends' friendship to be destroyed. After that, Frisilia hung up the phone from Elma and she lay down on her small bed while thinking about the actions of her two friends, which she herself didn't know were just nonsense from Elma, the little girl because she wanted to destroy the friendly relationship between the three of them. Then Frisilia grabbed her phone and immediately blocked Dika and Viona's phone contact because she was so emotional towards the two of them. Several weeks have passed and Frisilia never heard from Viona and Dika again. Dika and Viona felt strange about Frisilia's attitude towards the two of them which made them feel very annoyed. Because after a few weeks, Dika and Viona always contacted Frisilia via WhatsApp and called but Frisilia never responded to them, apparently their contact had been blocked by Frisilia. "Hello Dika, do you often contact Frisilia? Because lately I've always contacted her but her number is never active anymore, is she having personal or family problems?" Viona said to Dika in her WhatsApp call.
"Hy Vio, I don't know either, because I often contact him but his number is never active, maybe he has personal problems," said Dika. "Never mind, let's try asking his campus friends, in case they know the problem he is experiencing now," continued Dika. "Okay then Di, I'll continue studying first, when I'm finished I'll let you know again, bye-bye." Viona immediately hung up the phone and went back to class to continue her class, as did Dika. The next day, Dika and Viona planned to ask about Frisilia's whereabouts from their classmate Frisilia, but before they asked their classmate Frisilia, a telephone call from Elma made Dika and Viona very surprised. Viona then accepted the call. “Hello, what's wrong Elma? Did you call me?" Viona said on the call. "Hy, how are you Vio? How is your friendship? Has Frisilia no longer responded to every call and chat from you and Dika? Has she unblocked your contact or not? Have a good friend's farewell day, I hope you two stay together forever and there will be no more separation between you and Dika after this, hahahahahaha," said Elma while laughing out loud. "What do you mean by talking like that? It's impossible for Frisilia to block contact between the two of us, and that will never happen," said Viona, who was increasingly disgusted with Elma.
"If he doesn't block your contact, that means you're still calling and making video calls, but in fact you haven't had any news from him for 2 weeks, right?" Elma explained, making Viona and Dika's anger even higher. Immediately, Dika immediately hung up the phone from Elma and continued his conversation with Viona. "What does that unlucky girl mean? Does she want to ruin our friendship?" said Viona, who was getting increasingly irritated with Elma's impudent nature. "I'm very disappointed with Frisilia's attitude in making the wrong decision without knowing what really happened, why didn't she ask us about that before she believed that damn Elma, huhh." Dika nodded in annoyance. "Never mind, maybe he feels annoyed by what that damn Elma said, we have to find a way to improve our friendship, I don't want our friendship to be destroyed just because of the mouth of a damn girl whose only job is gossiping about that person”. Viona said. Dika just nodded. After Viona and Didi found out that Elma had created a fake story to divide their friendship, they planned a meeting with Frisilia to discuss everything that happened. They agreed to meet at a small cafe which had witnessed many funny stories during their five years of friendship. On the day of the meeting, the atmosphere in the cafe was tense. Frisilia sat in a corner with a serious expression, while Viona and Didi sat opposite her, trying to calm their hearts which were still hurt by Elma's machinations. They tried to ease the tension by smiling at Frisilia, but Frisilia still looked doubtful. "Fris, we need to talk about this. We never planned to go on holiday without inviting you. There's a big misunderstanding here." Viona said softly.
"Elma created that fake story, Fris. She wanted to break up our friendship," continued Dika. "Elma? Why did she do that?" asked Frisilia, frowning "He's jealous of our friendship. He wants to see us fight and end our friendship," said Viona. "We both felt very disappointed when we found out that you blocked us because of the fake news," said Dika "I... I don't know. I feel so hurt and angry. I'm sorry," said Frisilia, feeling sorry. "We understand, Fris. But now we know the truth. Let's unite to fight Elma and return our friendship to normal," said Viona with a smile. "We must not let Elma damage our friendship any stronger than outside temptation." Frisilia pondered for a moment, then smiled and nodded. "You are right. Our friendship is more valuable than anything. I apologize for my impulsive reaction." Frisilia said while apologizing to her two friends. "It's okay, Fris. The important thing is that we are back together," said Viona with a big smile.
After that, they moved on to discussing plans to deal with Elma. They agreed to stay solid and not let his intrigue destroy their friendship. Several weeks later, after facing Elma together and revealing the truth, their friendship grew stronger. They learn that in the test of friendship, honesty and trust are always the keys to keeping a relationship strong.
