Authement Welcome
Do I need to register for sessions?
Yes. You must pre-register for all sessions to save your seat. Registration is first come, first served. Once sessions are full,
registration will close for that session. There are NO waitlists.
How do I register?
Log onto any Internet-connected device. Go to www.rpsb.us/PD to view the grade-level specific Program Guides and register for
you sessions. You’ll need to make an account or log in before reserving your place in any session.
Can I unregister for sessions?
Absolutely! If you change your mind about a session, click on the “Registrations” link on the top menu of www.rpsb.us/PD.
You’ll see all of your registered sessions. You can unregister from any of them on this page.
I was emailed a ticket. What do I do with it?
The ticket confirms that you have registered for the session. It also serves as your ticket into the session. You can either print
these out or access them on your digital device, but either way you’ll need to produce these at the door of your session in order
enter. Each ticket has a QR code that will be scanned and is unique to you.
How do I verify I was in attendance?
After producing your ticket, the QR code will be scanned. This will document your attendance to the session. Shortly after the
event, you will be able to access your Certificates of Attendance via your www.rpsb.us/PD account. These certificates can be
downloaded, printed, and stored in your professional portfolio for future reference.
Am I getting CLUs?
Did you know the state is no longer requiring CLUs for certification renewals? Your successful observations are now being
utilized for certification renewals. As a result, Certificates of Attendance will be issued for your records, but CLUs will not be
entered into Coursewhere.
What if I want my CLUs transcribed on Coursewhere?
If you still want CLUs for your participation entered into Coursewhere, you’ll have to initiate this process. Simply log into your
Coursewhere account and locate your transcript. Scroll down the page and you’ll see a box where you can enter the details of
your attended sessions. Upload your certificates as proof and submit the records. After completing these steps, email Charlotte
Bryant at [email protected] and request that she verify your hours. Upon verification, the sessions and your hours will
appear on your Coursewhere transcript.
What do I do when I’m not attending a session?
If you’re not in trainings, you should be working at your school. Your principal can advise you further.
Are there any lunch arrangements?
The host schools are offering lunches and/or snacks for purchase. Teachers also have the option to pick up lunch between
sessions at local restaurants or bring their lunch from home.
Is there a Suggestion Box?
Yes! We love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Around the campus there are QR codes that you can
scan to access a digital suggestion form. You can also scan the QR code found here .
Do I need to complete session surveys?
Yes! Session surveys are an integral part of making your experience even better. Please complete a survey at the end of each
session you attend.
How do I use this guide?
The guide is organized into three parts.
• The first part is an “At a Glance” schedule. This shows each session, it’s location, and it’s time on any given day. Think
of this as a snapshot. It’s also the only place where you can find a session’s room number.
• The second part holds all of the details related to a session. The sessions are sorted alphabetically so they’re easier to
find. Read each description carefully. Some sessions require passwords to register, other sessions are geared to
specific schools or audiences.
• The third part is a collection of “scheduling charts.” If you’re a visual learner, this may be an easy way to see what is
required of a specific grade level or what sessions a consultant is offering.

Constructed Responses Strategy: RUNNTEO
RUNNTEO is a constructed response, writing strategy I created to help students increase their written expression scores on
standardized testing. After not having the results I wanted with RAPCC, I looked at exemplar responses for constructed
responses/response to literature and formulated a 7-letter system that would help students to remember what exactly was
necessary to successfully complete a writing task across all subjects. This strategy has been tried and tested with excellent
results. All students in my class during the 2017 LEAP Test scored Strong in written expression by using this as their go-to
method for help with creating an essay that hit ALL of the parts of the writing rubric for 3rd Grade. It can be used across all
subjects and by all grade levels that are testing grade levels. I am actually anticipating even better results this year after
working with students on the strategy for my second year in a row.
