Honourable sponsor Ali Judiyan Al Rasheedi in his absence,
Honorable Founder and Chairman of Bhavans Middle East Mr. N.K
Ramachandran Menon, Madame Sudha Ramachandran, our
dynamic Vice Chairman of Bhavans Middle East Mr. Sooraj
Ramachandran, elegant Director of Bhavans Middle East Mrs. Divya
Rajesh Ramachandran, Director of Bhavans Kuwait Mr. Krishnadas
Menon, Mr. Mohammad Khamis; Manager sponsor’s office, Principals
BVB Middle East, dear most parents, my dear colleagues, dear
students, ladies, and gentlemen. It is my privilege to welcome each
one of you to the virtual Annual Day celebration of this wonderful
school.

Sixteen glorious years of outstanding achievements, no mean feat!
When the world is grappling with pandemic, our lively children
singing the song of love, unity, hope, and peace lighting the hearts of
entire Bhavans fraternity in the Middle East. The gurgle of the infants
in the kindergarten and sporting delights of our primary kids are the
best music to our ears. The smart growth of our juniors brimming
with enormous talent and energy, and the studious uprightness of
the seniors are the best visual sights we can hope for. And as the
seniors sail out into the ocean of myriad careers gathering the genes,
wisdom, and experience, and then serving humanity with their
skills… what better way of worshipping the almighty could we have
even taught them ladies and gentlemen!

The tremendous growth of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan schools in the
Middle East in the last one decade is largely due to its adherence to
scientific technology, principles of truth and self-sacrifice, the
motivation, and guidance of our most respected and revered
chairman Mr. N.K Ramachandran Menon who he is ably supported
by our dynamic Vice Chairman Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran Menon
and elegant and well poised Director Mrs. Divya Rajesh
Ramachandran its belief in the oneness of the human race. The
institutions under the management of our chairman are open to all
kinds of changes and innovation welcoming new ideas from all the

stakeholders and well-wishers and successfully inculcating these
ideas into teaching mechanisms.

Being the landmark institution in the field of imparting quality
education, we at Indian Educational school, the flagship school
under the Bhavan’ s Middle East, uphold the Japanese philosophy of
Kaizen i.e., continuous development of the students, teachers and
our school. Our success is synonymous with the success of the
students. During this pandemic at our school, we witnessed many
triumphs on the academic as well as co-curricular and sports fronts.
Today, as I present before you their accomplishments, I want each
and every one of you to acknowledge them with thunderous applause
that should reverberate again and again in the memories of these
outstanding children and make them feel proud of their contribution
to our school.

Permit me to place on plate our academic achievement:

To our parents my message is that our aim is to instil in our students
the resilience and moral character to overcome the challenges and
become lifelong learners. There is an old Chinese saying, “give a seed
to a potter and you shall have a Bonsai”, meaning that student learn
rather than just studying and memorizing. It is immensely gratifying
to see how wonderfully the children flower and blossom under the
care of all their teachers and mentors here at our school. Our
endeavor was and will continue to be to work for the social, academic,
cultural, and intellectual development of our children so that they
are prepared for life, for work and for global citizenship.

For my staff, let me quote Steve Jobs, he said, and I quote, “Our work
is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly
satisfied, is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to
do a great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet,
keep looking. DON’T SETTLE. As with all matters of the heart, you
will know when you find it”.

Before I close, I should like to express deep gratitude to the Sponsor,
our founder and chairman Bhavans Middle East, The Vice Chairman
the Director Bhavans Middle East for their continued support and
guidance at all times. I am thankful to my colleagues from the
teaching and administrative wings for their teamwork and
understanding. I am thankful to the fellow principals of BVB Middle
East schools for their support and cooperation. I sincerely appreciate
the help we all get from the bright youngsters of the student
parliament and the team of school prefects. I would like to thank the
officials from the Ministry of Private Education for their support and
guidance. Finally, I would like to thank immensely the members of
the press who have always encouraged us with fantastic coverage of
our school events.

I thank everyone for listening to me this morning ….God Bless our
school.
