Design Features

Designer Jerry DeWitt of DeWitt and Associates, LLC, has achieved a rare mix of luxury and comfort.
At just under 3,000 square feet, each cottage building features four bedrooms and four and one-half
bathrooms. Designed as an elegant home-away-from-home, the interiors are tastefully appointed with
wood floors, vaulted ceilings, rich woodwork, luxurious furnishings and comfortable outdoor living

spaces. A fully-equipped kitchen outfitted with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances
accommodates the most enthusiastic chef, and those seeking quick snacks. Bedrooms boast fine Italian

linens and cozy down bedding and bathrooms feature deluxe granite. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces
and flat screen televisions add to an ambiance encouraging the gathering of family and friends. The
cottages at the Daniel Island Club offer moments at every turn to sit a spell, rest awhile and accomplish your dreams.

CLUB COTTAGES RULES & REGULATIONS

Thank you for your reservation at the Cottages at Daniel Island Club. We strive
to ensure that your experience is positive and engaging. In order to achieve this

goal, the membership and guests of the club are asked to adhere to certain
traditions that contribute to our continue status as a premier club.

Attire for Club Facilities
Golf
Gentleman may wear collared shirts with sleeves, slacks or appropriate shorts. Denim
of any kind is prohibited on the golf course and practice area. Shoes must be worn at
all times, soft spikes only. It is recommended that shirts be tucked in.
Ladies may wear dresses, skirts, skorts, slacks, golf shorts up to four inches above the
knee and blouses.
Clubhouse
Members and Guests shall, at all times, dress in a manner appropriate to the
ambiance of the Club. Country Club Casual attire is expected while on Club property.
Hats should not be worn in the Grill Room or Harry’s.
Appropriate informal, casual sports attire can be worn in the Grill Room.
Appropriate dressy attire should be worn in Harry’s.
Gentlemen - shirts with sleeves and collars are required. Turtlenecks and mock
turtlenecks are permitted. No open-toed shoes are permitted for gentlemen.
Ladies - halter tops, bare midriffs, and pool attire (cover-ups, bathing suits or
bare feet) are not permitted, nor is gym, tennis, workout, or running attire).
Dress denim, defined as free of holes and neatly hemmed, is permitted.
Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times on the premises of the Club. Metal-spiked
golf shoes are not permitted anywhere on Club facilities.
Croquet
Croquet players must be dressed in collared white shirts, white shorts or slacks and
white shoes.

Golf Rules
Only food and beverages purchased from the Club are permitted on the golf course.
The Rules of Golf of the United States Golf Association (U.S.G.A.), together with the
Rules of Etiquette, as adopted by the U.S.G.A., shall be the rules of the Club, except
when in conflict with published local rules.
All members and guests must register at the Golf Shop before beginning to play. All
play begins on the first tee, unless otherwise directed by the golf staff.

In-Cottage Rules
Must be 21 of age to check in alone
Check-in time: 11:00 AM
Check-out time: 4:00 PM
Smoking is only permitted on cottage patios. Smoking indoors will result in cleaning
fees.
Max occupancies strictly enforced and subject to additional fees or club penalties.
Cottage Suite - 2 Adults
Main Cottage - 8 Adults
Full Cottage - 12 Adults
In conjunction with Daniel Island Club policy, pets are not allowed in the cottages.
Fires are only permitted in designated patio fireplaces.
Cottage guest parking is located in the member parking lot directly adjacent to the golf
bag drop area. Vehicles may not be left in front of the cottages in excess of 15 minutes.
Quiet Hours: 10 PM - 6 AM.
No parties permitted without expressed consent from the club president. In the event
of multiple parties occurring in one cottage, the exterior patio space is in accordance
with the boundaries of interior space. If the suites are occupied, those occupants have
primary use of the patio space in all circumstances.

Cottages Policies
The cottage stay will be settled through the sponsoring member unless a credit card is
given at the time of booking.
Checking out later than 11:00 AM will incur a $100 automatic late fee.
30 Day Cancellation Policy Applies
Cancelling within 30 days will result in a two night room charge.
Any damage to cottage equipment, buildings, or linen will be charged to the account or
credit card upon checkout.
