About UPA-TIK PNJ UPA-TIK PNJ is the unit responsible for all information and communication technology services, both hardware and software, related to academics at PNJ. The task of UPA-TIK itself is to carry out the development and management of information and communication technology and the provision of information and communication technology services for the management of the Jakarta State Polytechnic, Research and Community Service. This unit itself has been running for more than five years. UPATIK provides tutorial content related to services and facilities provided through the UPA-TIK PNJ YouTube account. UPA-TIK PNJ History Based on the Decree of the Director of PNJ Number 110/K7/ SK/2007 it was stated that a management team of the Indonesia Higher Education Network (INHERENT PNJ) was appointed. 2007 Based on the Decree of the Director of PNJ Number 37/PL3/SK/2013 it was stated that a unit manager was appointed named Pusat Informasi dan Teknologi Komputer (PITK) which was combined with the UPT computer, perhaps because in other institutions the abbreviation PITK was not very familiar, therefore this unit natural changed its abbreviation to PUSDATIN. 2013 Based on the Decree of the Director of PNJ on April 1 2020 with number 1190/ PL3/HK.03/2020 the name changed to Data dan Sistem Informasi (DASI) which is part of the academic and student affairs division of PNJ. In 2020 there was also a unit called Unit Transformasi Digital (UTD) under the leadership of Mrs. Shinta, the secretary of Mr. Anggi, its history initially did not follow. 2020 Currently the unit’s name has been changed to UPA-TIK. The name of the unit is always changing because the previous names have not been officially determined, but the current one has become a ministry stipulation. So maybe it won’t change again, but the old brand is hard to get rid of because 2 years ago they used UTD. UTD was already quite ingrained. 2022 UPA-TIK PNJ Company Profile Page No. - 13

UPA-TIK PNJ’s Hopes 1. Improvement of Infrastructure and Services: In the future, it is hoped that UPA-TIK can continue to develop information technology infrastructure in PNJ. Increasing network capacity, internet speed, and availability of technological resources will support better use of services for the academic community. 2. Innovation and Technological Development: UPA-TIK can play an active role in keeping abreast of the latest information technology developments and implementing relevant innovations within PNJ. This could include the introduction of new systems, mobile applications, online learning platforms, or other supporting tools that can improve the experience and efficiency of using the service. 3. Information Security: Data and information security is very important in the academic environment. UPA-TIK can continue to improve the security system and protect personal data, research and other sensitive information in PNJ. These efforts may involve the use of data encryption, strong network security measures, and training and security awareness for service users. 4. Technical Support and Training: UPA-TIK can continue to provide good technical support to the PNJ academic community. This includes the provision of technical assistance through a service center, guidance on the use of the system, and training and development of information technology skills to users.
