20th FEBRUARY 2023
This activity took place in February. The activity was organised by an NGO to gain funding for the youth of the clubs to host a Parent's Day Event before Mother's Day and Father's Day. The skill that was used here was Collaborative Skill and Giving Instructions Skill. Why Collaborative Skills were used here because we had to work as an organised team of 15 that were made into the subunit of 5 in a unit. We took shift turns for 3 days to sell the product Winner leaf oil. How the skill of Giving Instructions was used here the leader of our group gave clear and simple rules. He made sure all of his teams mates were safe while doing the sale.
MARCH 2023
This activity took place in March. The activity was me and my fellow teammates for Intro to Critical Thinking assignment which was to critically analyze a movie from the given list by the instructions. For this activity the skill that was used was leadership skills.I had to lead my group to do their task.We had a minor healthy argument in picking the movie which was settled.Later then I distribute the task evenly amongst all of us.We had a healthy teamwork, everyone did their parts and help each other with their enquiry's.The report was completed in 2 weeks time.
APRIL 2023
This activity took place in April. This activity was organize Veritas University.The was activity was have volunteers go to an Aboriginal Native Village and teach them on a weekly basis as the kids in that village did not go to school. A student of Veritas University was my friend and asked me and few others if we wanted to volunteer stating it will be a good learning activity. The skill that was use here Conflict Management and Promblem Solving Skills. It was inform to us at the very last hour the day before the activity we had to find over on transport service as the lecture that of Veritas university that was suppose to takes us had fallen under the weather.We wanted to step out from the activity but we managed to solve our issues and went safely and conducted the class and returned back home.We even had a minor food donation for the 15 kids.
MARCH 2023
This activity took place in March. The activity was me and my fellow teammates for Intro to Techonology in Education project which was to made an interactive educational game following the criteria listed in the instructions. For this activity the skill that was used was communication skills.We divide the task amounts us equally. Since some of us lived quite far from the campus and took the public transport to class.We didn't want to make that teammate come to campus when they didn't have class, so we decided to communicate via WhatsApp,Google meet and when we met in classes.We had few other subjects together.We would meet up after class in the library.We always held weekly google meet sessions to records our project progress. We took approximately 3 weeks to finish our report and game.
