The Valhalla Voices from Cambridge-South Dorchester High
School, under the leadership of Melissa Slacum, Choral Music
Teacher, will perform a beautiful selection of pieces, including
the Native American “Morning Song” which features Navajo
words, “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman and “Seasons
of Love” from Rent; among others.
In Ms. Slacum’s words “the group may be small, but they want
to make music and they love to perform!” In this, their first
year with Ms. Slacum as Choral Music Teacher, they have
performed locally for Christmas celebrations, at museums and
adult day care facilities.
