Oration

I started Leoism on my own initiation
in 2017 as a Member of Ananda
College Leo Club and was able to
bring 2 awards to the club within a
year. During the year 2018 to 2019,
I became the President of Ananda
College Leo Club and under my
leadership I was able to bring 12
awards to the club by completing 50
chaired projects. With my leadership
experience with Leoism and being a
Coloursman of School Level I was
able to be the Deputy Head Prefect of
my Alma Mater.

of the last Year

Gift of Life

“Gift of Life” , a community awareness
continuous project camping about eye and tissue
donation which was chaired by Leo Tharindu
Prasad at temples in Sri Lanka. In last year we
were able to register many donors within short
period. We’ve been continuing this
project for years on every month.

Be Safe

“Be Safe” , a safety project initiated by
using sticker awareness campaign for
public transport services at
Dehiwala , Wellawatte and Pettah area to
prevent road crime and accidents.

Sathkara

Since the beginning of the leoistic
year 2020/21 , we metros conducted
successful project “Sathkara” phases in
different 8 Elder’s Homes. Our Club
Secretary Leo Nadisha Lakmali continuing
this project. We always cherish their life and
spend some quality time with elders who live
the rest of their life at elder’s homes. And also
bring smiles on their faces as well as their soul.

Project “iSTROLL “ was an effort of Leo Club
of Nawala Metro in order to donate healthy
footwears to elders who are
suffering from diabetic. We were prepared
to contribute special hygienic footwears for
diabetics to adults to illuminate their lives of
helpless innocents. It was held on 2nd of May
2020 at Sausiri Elder’s Home Pannipitiya.
