equipment we have available to us. We will continue
to close the range on Mondays to work on this project
until complete. This will clean-up a couple of unsightly
areas that have been in front of the range for a while.
Thank you for your patience with this.

A great deal of our time this winter is going to the
construction of the bunkers and our in-house drainageonstruction of the bunkers and our in-house drainage

projects. We will be working with Modern Golf to
remove beneficial sands from the bunkers throughout
the winter months. Sands that are good quality will be
used to top-dress fairways. We are stock piling these
sands to use in the spring. The remaining sands will be
combined with the native clay soils to create the new
bunker complexes. unker complexes. We will also be watering and

cleaning the course from our lovely flying friends the
Canadian Geese.

Please remember as you drive through the course on
frosty mornings to use the cart paths the entire way. If
driven on these areas take much longer to recover in
the spring and some will need seeded. As you see me

STUFFED ANIMAL DRIVE SUCCESS!





The Ranch Country Club would like to extended
a big thank you to everyone that participated in
our stuffed animal drive last month! There was
a tremendous outpour of donations and each
contribution will help make a difference in your
community. We received over 200 stuffed animals
- wow! wow!

The Westminster Fire Department came by for
our Teddy Bear Send Off on Sunday, December
23rd to take all of the stuffed animals off in their
fire trucks! Thank you to all of the firefighters
that work hard in our community all year long -
we hope that the donations help ease stressful
situations for the children they meet when on call.ituations for the children they meet when on call.

Miikka Keronen, MA, USPTA, is your Head S p r i n g / S u m m e r
Tennis Professional and Director of Tennis at
The Ranch Country Club. He also is the Boys' A d u l t L e a g u e M e e t i n g
Head Tennis Coach at Niwot High School and
has previously coached Team Colorado 10's
and 12's squad. As a Collegiate player at Azusa
P
Pacific Universitacific University, Miikka received All-American
honors. He has been one of the top Open
Players in Colorado for several years and was
ranked #3 in Men's Open singles in 2013. In
2004, Miikka was selected as USPTA
Intermountain Open Player of the Year. Miikka's Winter Tennis Mixer
coaching philosophy is the 3 E's - Entertainment,
Exercise and Education. He specializes in gamexercise and Education. He specializes in game
