Islamic Gardens signifies peace, meditation, and rest. Design concept: The objective of an Islamic garden is to provide a cool area to rest and a reminder of heaven. Paths, courtyards, fountains, and a play area comprised the majority of the islamic garden. Statuary is an aspect that is not visible since it is expressly prohibited by the Quran. FAR EAST PLANET IKAN KELAH AGRO FARM PROJECT 4 61
INTRODUCTION 62 I took the Landscape Exploration class on my last semester which is semester 1 2022/2023. It was only me who registered and participated in this session. I was given a task to do a real community project at Mersing, Johor. The project was to design the agro farm area including the fishpond and the chalets area. The purpose of this project is to attract more people to come to the place and to make guest more comfortable to stay. The first class was conducted virtually via Goggle Meet. Dr Norliza gave me a brief about what the expected outcomes for the class. Landscape Exploration 2022/2023_Design Competition
63 FAR EAST PLANET AGROFARM, MERSING, JOHOR Far East Planet Agrofarm located in Mersing, Johor is a fish farming center. Far East Planet are the entrepreneurs and suppliers of Kelah fish. The price value for mature fish is very high and reaches thousands of ringgit for one fish. Before we went on the site visit, I did preliminary research and prepared a few different design concept options to propose to the owner, Mr. Hanafi. In addition to chalets, the proposed project also includes leisure areas, restaurants and basic facilities such as swimming pools and playgrounds. I also do a roughly layout using sketch up and figure out which area to design. I did the layout by refering to the Google map and Google street pictures.
