K INDONÉSIE.

Retour dans les archives de Kenzo Takada avec
cette généreuse fleur exotique. C’est le motif très
dense et coloré de la saison. Le turquoise couleur
estivale est ponctué d’un coeur blanc, ce qui
apporte fraicheur et lumière à la coloration. Pour
le dos, un petit motif léopard travaillé en camaieu,
nous rappelle en douceur que nous sommes chez
Kenzo.

A dive back in to the Kenzo Takada archives
with this luscious exotic flower design. An intensely
rich and colourful design for the new season,
with summery turquoise underpinned by a white
heart to add a touch of refreshing light amidst an
explosion of colour.
On the back, a micro leopard print pattern unfurls
in a gentle reminder of the Kenzo spirit.

K DAMASK.

Ce design aux airs rétro, évoquant les damassés
du XVIIe siècle, joue avec le logo Kenzo tournoyant
pour un effet très contemporain.
Pour la parure lit, une couleur vert-olive délicate
évoque la brillance inhérent au damassé, coupée
par une grande rayure de jaune citron pour une
interprétation moderne de ce style classique.
Le fond est comme des rayons de soleil, une rayure
simple contre un fond de blanc pur.

This vintage-inspired design is reminiscent of
18th century damask, given Kenzo’s trademark twist
in pieces with a more contemporary cut.
On this bedding, a delicate olive-green wash
evokes the sheen inherent to damask, cut through
by a stripe of lemon yellow for a modern take on
a highly classical style. The back is a burst of bright
sunshine, a simple stripe set against a steady white
backdrop.

K QIPAO.

Soit en Jacquard, soit en brodé, cette guirlande
de fleur de pommier s’exprimait généreusement
dans la collection pret-à Porter Automne Hiver 18.
Nous l’avons détournée, étirées pour quelle parcourt
la couette de façon délicate tout en souplesse.
Sur le haut du lit il ne reste que son ombre qui se fond
dans le bleu glycine du fond. Au dos c’est un rouge
flamboyant parsemé du petit K de Kenzo qui viendra
vous surprendre.
Whether jacquard or embroidered, this apple blossom
wreath design was a common theme running throughout
the Autumn/Winter 2018 ready-to-wear collection.
We stamped our own mark on the design, stretching
it out to run across the entire duvet cover in a delicate
flow. At the top of the bed, its shadow lingers on,
ultimately fading away into a wisteria-blue background.
The back features a dazzling, vibrant red scattered with
tiny Kenzo Ks.

K KNITTED.

Cette rayure est une succession de trompe l’oeil,
elle imite le cotelé inspiré des jolies robes en maille
que nous avons pu voir dans le défilé «Memento»
3 de cet hiver. Le rouge écarlate amène une note
féminine et sportive dans cette étendue de bleus:
Royal, Cobalt ou Navy.
The stripe here creates a trompe-l’oeil effect, a nod
to the ribbed designs seen on the pretty knit dresses
that featured in this winter’s Memento 3 show.
The scarlet red creates a feminine, sporty feel,
juxtaposed against a sea of blues: Royal, Cobalt
and Navy.
