My day 22

My day 22

MY DAILY
ROUTINE

A day in my life
My name is Omar and I’m eleven. I come from

Kazakhstan but I live in London now. I go to school. I

get up at half past seven in the morning and I have
breakfast at eight o’clock. School starts at nine and we

have seven lessons every day. We learn English,

French, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Art.
I like Maths and English but I don’t like History. Lunch
is at one o’clock.

My Day

My every day activities are quite routine. They do not differ much from those of a
ny other pupil of our country. My working day begins at 7 o'clock in the morning
when I get up. I do my physical jerks, wash, brush my teeth and comb my hair. T
hen I have breakfast. For breakfast I usually have toasted bread, fried eggs, corn f

lakes, tea or coffee and some jam.
At ten to eight I leave for school. I go to school five days a week. It takes me twe
nty minutes to get to school by bus. At school I usually have six or seven lessons.
The lessons are over at two o'clock. I return home at three o'clock. I have lunch a
nd take a short rest.I go for a walk with my friends. In spring we play football, in
winter we play hockey or ski. I am back at home at a quarter past four. At four thi

rty I begin to do my home-
work. It takes me three hours to do it. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I atten
d preparatory courses at the University. I leave home, at four thirty and come bac

k at eight thirty.
My parents usually return home at seven o'clock. When I am at home we have di

nner at seven thirty. After dinner we go to the sitting-
room. There we read books, watch TV, chat with the friends on the phone.
At ten o'clock I take a shower, brush my teeth and go to bed. I fall asleep fast and

have no dreams.

MY WORKING DAY

On week days I usually get up nearly six o'clock. I do not like to get
up early, but I have to, because I have a lot of work to do during the

day.
I make my bed, wash my face, put my clothes on and go to the
kitchen to have breakfast. My mother usually prepares, breakfast for
me, but sometimes I do it myself. If I prepare my breakfast for my
own, I should have to get up earlier. I do not like big breakfasts; I

prefer a cup of coffee and a sandwich.
Then I go to school. It is rather far from my house and I go there by
bus. I have classes till two or three o'clock, it depends on a week day.
Then I come home and have dinner. I like a big dinner, because when

I come home from school I am hungry.

After my dinner, I have a rest for a couple of hours and then I do my
homework. If I have some spare time I do some work about the house. I sweep the
floor, dust the furniture and clean the carpets with the vacuum-cleaner. Sometimes
my mother asks me to go shopping.

Then I have free time. I go for a walk with my friends or watch TV, or read
books or play my favorite computer games. Then I have supper with my family. I
like evenings very much, all members of our family get together after work and
study and have the opportunity to talk and to discuss our family affairs.

I usually go to bed at about ten o'clock, sometimes at eleven o'clock.
