From these points, it can be seen that there was hostility harbored from different ethnicities to
other ethnicities, which caused a gap in ethnic diversity, which proves to be opposite of
Indonesia’s motto which translates to “Unity in Diversity”.
b. What are the new things you learn from this reading? How will you recommend this book to
other readers?
That the history of Indonesia is rather complex and past heroes fought hard to claim back our
lands and unite different ethnicities under one nation.

Summary
A TikTok celebrity called Natasha Surya 'convicted' for of being
positive for COVID-19. She has been widely discussed by netizens in
the media. Natasha admitted that she had not done a PCR swab test
at the time the notification was sent to her. Natasha shared this
through her TikTok account, @natasha.surya. "So I want to share my
experience on getting a positive result for COVID, even though I
didn't have a PCR swab at that place on the date mentioned," said
Natasha in a video distributed through the TikTok account
@natasha.surya, Monday (14/2/2022). Because of this, the status of
her "PeduliLindungi" app changed to black, which meant that she was
positive with covid, but in truth she wasn't. She then rushed to the
hospital to clarify the matter. Apparently there was an error in
inputting data for covid tests. The matter is later settled and she
requested an apology letter from the Hospital. She also insisted that
the apology letter be given in person. The hospital later gave the
apology letter to Natasha.

TITLE
What Is Water
Worth?
AUTHOR: John Perritano
PUBLISHER: Reading A-Z
YEAR OF PUBLICATION: -
TOTAL PAGES: 18
Summary
Water can be found around us, water makes up most of the Earth's surface.
With that amount of water present, anyone would take it for granted. Though
water is becoming more precious, not all water is drinkable. Only 3% of the
water on Earth is freshwater, and we can only access 1% of that freshwater.
Other less developed countries have a harder time trying to access
freshwater, while much more developed countries have the facilities to access
hard-to-reach water sources. The accessible 1% freshwater is also threatened
by three causes, which are pollution, increased demands of the growing
population, and climate change. In areas where freshwater goes untreated, it
gets infested with disease-carrying organisms and makes people sick in
multiple ways. The increase in population also reduces the amount of water
available to each person. People might have thought that water is unlimited,
but 1 out of 6 people in the world don't have enough clean water. Scientists
predict that because of climate change, by 2050 one-fifth of the overall
population will face water shortages. Climate change tempers the delicate
water cycle. As climate change worsens, there's less water to go about for
raising livestock or growing crops. But if individuals start to conserve water, it
can create a huge impact.
OPINION
I recommend others to read
this book because it explains a
great deal about water. This
book also helps raise awareness
of the existing dangers that our
water sources are facing. This
book also includes data to
support its statements. The
book also provides solutions for
conserving water.
