Balance

 The distribution of the visual weight of objects, colors, textures, and space.

Rhythm

 When one or more elements are used repeatedly and give a sense of
organization.

Unity

 The feeling of harmony between all parts of the art.

Contrast

 The arrangement of opposite elements in a piece of art in order to create
visual interest. Such elements can include color, texture, and shapes.

Proportion

 The feeling of unity when all shapes sizes are related to each other.

Emphasis

 The part on the design that grabs the readers attention the most.
