I would like to thank my arms for always being by my side. My legs for always

I had a great time in these 4 years, from last minute assignment submissions
to endless Nescaf‚ talks with Cappuccino. l will cherish them for the rest of my
life. Besides memories, campus teaches many things, from not-so-confident
self to strong-independent individual. Yeah, will definitely miss the campus and
friends.

IIT Hyderabad, a place where I had the best 4 years of my life. My journey started
at ODF and I will never in my life forget the 400 series. I will always cherish the
memories of long night walks with my friends, playing cards for whole night just
so that we could have Aloo parantha before we go to sleep, sitting at amul at 3 in
the morning, zam-zam’s way over-spicy chicken , trip to Goa and Dharamshala.
I’m thankful to IIT Hyderabad for giving me all these great experiences and also
preparing me to face any hardships and stress in life by I giving us a huge number
of assignments :) The only thing that I will regret is not getting my last 2
months and farewell at the college.

To sum it up in a few words, it was cool cool cool cool cool cool cool. IYKYK.

The time I spent at II TH was undoubtedly the most memorable time of my life.
I was able to make a lot of friends. I learned a lot from these four years, and I am
thankful to II TH and my friends for mysteriously crafting me into an engineer!

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful trip!

I don’t quite remember what I had expected of my college life but it’s safe to say,
this wasn’t what I had in mind. These four years of fractal academics, leisurely
quizzing, late-night volleyball and dum biryanis have been quite oddly satisfying,
and for that, IITH will always hold a special place in my heart.

A bunch of kids entered the college premises with their teenage naivety away from
home for the first time, celebrated their first big wins, and faced their first big
heartbreaks together, ending up making a big family in those small pods. 18 and 21
are the most memorable landmarks of one’s life and I couldn’t have chosen a better
set of idiots to spend them with. Books I read did not define my IIT experience,
people I met did.

Life at II TH was something that changed me completely, as a person, my
thoughts, my views on life, and much more. I made a lot of memories here
which I will cherish for life. Forever in my heart, IITH.

Aah, where do I start with this..... This was a wild ride from the day I stepped into
my ODF room as a confused 17 years old to a slightly less confused 21 years old.
Every day was an adventure and I met some amazing people along the road. The
night-outs with project presentations, hackathons and also talking about life:p,
are some moments which I will cherish forever. Though we had an anti-climatic
ending for our UG life, I am grateful for the personality development I had over the
last 4 years.

The campus is nostalgic, which taught me everything that helped me to get success.
Don’t know what to share but IITH is an emotion. I didn’t know about the II T until
I joined. I enjoyed every moment in IITH. when I don’t know anything it made me
curious about a lot of issues.and a lot more.

To me, IITH is an experience transcending every other emotion. Everyone I met

An ever remembered and cherished journey of my life of four years in II T Hyderabad
has been fascinating, challenging and filled full of memories. II TH has provided
me with a plethora of opportunities to shape my future. Looking back, I earned
numerous memories and fabulous friends. From late-night spooky walks and
brainstorming sessions to last-minute collaborative efforts, I will cherish them for
the rest of my life.
Aithu Snehith
But, in retrospect, maybe I don’t want it to be perfect. A lot of experiences had
challenged my beliefs, each introducing me to a reality that did not exist for me
before. I’d be forever grateful for the opportunities I’ve encountered, the people I’ve
met, and the long-lasting friendships I’ve made. Perhaps the biggest take-away for
me is to never settle for mediocrity!

ODF, Kandi, Pod, UDH, Elan, Shiru Cafe, DJ night.. These words let alone bring
back a lot of memories and smiles on my face. Thank you II TH for giving me
such wonderful memories and amazing souls as FRIENDS...

College life was magical. I’ve seen many ups and downs in both academics and

It’s one of the best experiences is to be independent and free with many
opportunities around you. Life at IIT H has not been easy but it has shaped
me into the person I’m today. My only advice would be to make most of the
opportunities you get and don’t shy away from challenges. Of all the different
things about II T H, I will miss the incredibly talented and amazing people I got
to meet here.

B. Sahadhith Venkat The journey of joining this prestigious institute that is none other than II T
Trivinag HYDERABAD as a boy started on 26.07.2016,after qualifying in world’s toughest
examination that is JEE Advanced. I was very excited about commencing my
campus life to this institute like in the3 idiots movie. On the very first day there was
an ‘’orientation’’ about my department which is Material Science and Metallurgical
Engineering.
I split my journey of campus life into 3 parts
1. ACADEMIC LIFE
2. HOSTEL LIFE
3. CULTURAL LIFE
ACADEMIC LIFE:
My academic life began on 1rst of August. I attended classes regularly. I used to visit professors cabins regarding
academics. From there onwards attending classes, submitting assignments on time, giving exams. Studying night
before exams was a lot common and without sleeping to score good marks. The professors were always kind,
helpful, caring, always welcomed with doors open for clearing doubts.
HOSTEL LIFE:
Here comes the most fun part of campus life.
My room and is the best room ever I stayed in the campus life, F-230. And my friends used to stay in H block.
During free time, nights and weekends we used to play cricket in pod area and other that includes playing pranks
on friends, binge watching, talk about fun stuffs. We used to eat food outside the campus, dhabas, by walk, night
walks, going to canteen, etc. we shared food delivery from swiggy and picking up the order from main gate by
bus, this happened particularly during IPL by getting coupons when the batsmen hit sixes. One more instance
was, several times there was a blackout in campus(power got disrupted), we used to scream, shout, display phone
lights from our hostel room till the power got back. Those voices were heard all over the campus. There are many
memorable moments which I cannot express in words.
They say, ‘’ HOSTEL LIFE IS THE BEST PART OF CAMPUS LIFE’’.
CULTURAL LIFE:
The second most fun part of campus life.
The most awaited event which happens annually that is ELAN & NVISION, which is a 3 day carnival. I also
participated in this cultural festival in the event called ‘’walk the ramp’’. From the first year itself I participated in
this event and gained appreciation rom the audiences and the whole institute. I shy away from fear and nervousness
and participated confidently. Coming to second year I didn’t take part in the events as I was busy volunteering for
this fest. Again in 3rd and 4th year took part in the same walk the ramp event as I gained lot of appreciation rom
whole institute. That impression from friends and campus gradually increased from 1rst year, 3rd year and 4th
year. Finally in 4th year I came runner up in this event.
There was a freshers party in first year, in this event the host (second year) asked us to take flowers. Girls were
called upon stage, told us to give flowers to one of these girls. I was very shy to give flower to them, I randomly gave
the flower to one girl without seeing her face. In 3rd year I witnessed how farewell party was conducted to final
year students who were passing out. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic unofficial farewell party was not held.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic national lockdown was imposed. I also witnessed the remaining part of academics run
on the basis of online mode in April and May. For the first time in my life I experienced that online classes were
conducted by institute, wrote exam from home. Therefore, on the 15th day of may 2020, on this day I completed
engineering and last exam of engineering on Bharath sir’s course, passed out as Material science and Metallurgical
Engineer and claimed the tag ‘’IITIAN’’.
On 9.08.2020, official e-farewell was conducted in online mode through live streaming YouTube for passing out
students. In this event students can share experiences faced in campus. This event was also streamed live on
YouTube I was among the students to share the experiences in front of Director sir, Dean of Academics, HODs of all
department professors and the batch of 2020. I was the only student from department to express the experience.
Coming to my part of speech, I gave speech, after giving speech- Director sir, Dean of Academics and Bharath sir
(HOD OF MSME), lauded and expressed my struggles that how much I struggled these 4 years of my life, Bharath
sir rolled tears from his eyes.and invited my parents in the middle of the occasion and gave opportunity to my
parents to speak on my struggles, which never happened in any farewell. As it was telecasted in youtube, I thought
I had become celebrity.
So these are my several memories which happened in these 4 years of my campus life in this prestigious institute. I
can write more about my experiences which cannot be expressed in words. Sharing my experience on this yearbook
is not sufficient because there are so many memories, experiences to be shared that I should write a book instead
of writing article for this yearbook in one or two pages.
The First Day On Campus: 26.07.2016 The Last Day on Campus: 08.03.2020
The First Day Of Hostel: 26.07.2016 The Last Day Of Hostel: 08.03.2020
The First Day Of Academics: 01.08.2016 The Last Day Of Academics: 15.05.2020
The First Day Of Elan Festival: 22.02.2017 The Last Day Of Elan Festival: 16.02.2020
I have no words to describe how good life has been at IIT Hyderabad. I have had the
best time of my life here. I am leaving with good memories to cherish for a lifetime.
No goodbyes as I will be here again! That’s all I have to say!
Ashutosh gupta
First of all, I got good friends from all over India. We got a memorable welcome party Vysakh P V
from our seniors. On that occasion, I could see the talents of my classmates. The events
conducted by Elan and Envision were awesome. We enjoyed every music and cultural
event as possible. I could participate in some of the completions conducted by them.
I can’t forget the Onam celebration coordinated by the II TH Malayali community!
I participated in the December 2018 Inter IIT sports competition as a part of the
volleyball team. That was a story with beautiful scenes, new places, new friends. When
Kerala had experienced the worst flood ever, the Malayali community in the Institute
gathered and contributed lots of essentials things and money as well as provided real-
time monitoring and assisting services to the affected people. I praise those efforts.
The life in IITH worth of enjoying.
It has been a great experience in IITH for the past two years. From ‘random people’
around to having a ‘family for a lifetime’, there were tons of memories there. Being
❤a PG Representative in Gymkhana was both fun and challenging at the same time.
Altogether, we truly lived each moment there! Miss being in IITH!

Life at II T Hyderabad started for me in P shed hostels, which never looked like
hostels on the outside, still felt like a home on the inside because of the friends
I made. Thanks to these people(Parth, Naresh, Shripad, Karthik, Shepal, Pravin,
Faraz, Mahesh, Naveen), my 2 years at IITH have seen some great moments.
Thanks to Athira and Navneeth for the memories during my initial days at IITH.
I have been a part of the cricket team since my first semester and I would like to
thank every single teammate for all the memories they have given me (especially,
Btv, Adarsh, Pavan, and Sharath). It has been a great journey altogether,
and I consider myself really lucky to have been part of this great campus.
Prabhu ram A
Two years at II TH never felt any less than an adventurous journey. I have had
some exceptionally great memories out there and would never ever think of
letting them go. We were the first batch that had a unique online farewell,
keeping aside our dreams of getting convocated on campus. Signing off with a
heavy heart, I would forever be grateful to be a part of this institution.
Adrija Ghosh
Best time of my life made some good friends. Thanks to my professor and doctoral
students for helping me with academics as well as my master thesis. I wish that
spend those last three months on the IIT campus, but I could not because of the
COVID19 lockdown. Overall the experience was great. I convey my good wishes to
all my classmates, juniors, and seniors for their future endeavors.
Dhruv Bhatnagar
Two years of my time in IITH were the best two years of my life. (Damn you COVID
- ruined my last three months) I made many friends, it is because of them only my
IITH experience is wonderful. I still remember those days when we had assignments
deadline and how we used to complete them on the last day. How can I forget big
queues in our mess on Sunday and special dinner? DJ nights with unlimited ice-
creams and friends - the perfect combination. If I get another chance, I would like
to experience IITH all over again.
Anshika Chaurasia
My journey started from IIT ODF campus. Life was simple there but tough. We
slowly moved on to the new campus. We had one of the best faculties, who were
very friendly and maintained 100% professional work culture. The five years of PhD
is such an experience that everyone will cherish for the rest of life.
Sanghamitra Debroy
I was an external PhD candidate. It was a nice experience. The professors and
students helped me a lot to resolve the difficulties. My PhD guide, Mohammed
Zafar Ali Khan, was kind and supportive.
Santu Sardar
I joined the PhD program in the Dept. of Civil Engineering at the age of 36 in
External mode. I was afraid of faculty and IIT standards. I was tensed. But during
my course work, the faculty of Civil Engineering never treated me separately.
Instead, they encouraged me more which helped me to acquire good grades. Also, I
thank my guide Dr Surendra Nadh Somala, for his support and constant pursuance
during my PhD, which helped me complete within 5 years.
Dr. Raghucharan M C
II TH was the best academic space in my life. The food, hostel and teachers, staff and
friends at II TH were an interesting amalgamation that I will always cherish and
long for. I miss the nonhumans that I encountered every day during the morning
run. Wish peace and health to all at IITH.
Sudarshan R Kottai
Firstly, Research facilities provided by IIT Hyderabad was excellent. The
care that was taken and the support given by my guide and DC members
was extraordinary. Irrespective of Department, the support given my fellow
research scholars was outstanding. I possibly can not share my experience at
II T Hyderabad in 3-4 lines. Thank you, Sarath.

II T Hyderabad gave me a life-changing experience. Starting from ODF campus
to Kandi campus, I loved each and every instant. When I look back, all the lab
time, coffee break, discussions, arguments, and academic works were sweetest
memories. Every moment of laughing, fighting, eating, and midnight roaming was
beautiful with you, Paasamalargal Pasangala. Thanks to my supervisor Dr Abhinav
Kumar and my IITH family who were with me during my ups and downs. Great
thanks for their consistent and valuable support.
Yoghitha Ramamoorthi
I am glad I chose IITH for my PhD Research in Biomedical engineering. The research
facilities provided for me are at par with global standards. The international
exposure we get from being in the IITH community aspired me to be on a path
of being a global leader. I would like to thank the Biomedical department and my
supervisor Dr Subha for his support throughout my research career at IITH.
Uday Kiran Roopavath
The experience at IITH was very nice and cool. I started my Ph.D. career at IITH
in 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Ch. Subrahmanyam in the Chemistry
department. I spent more time on the ODF campus, and the hostel rooms
are good, and the mess food was delicious. The medical and bus facilities are
beneficial for me, and I enjoyed cultural programs at IIT Hyderabad.
K V Ashok Kumar
I am taught one basic thing from my experience in IIT Hyderabad is “Growth is an
erratic forward movement: two steps forward, one step back.” Initially, the essence
of the work assigned was tremendously huge, and I couldn’t dodge it. But for the
next three years, though, I did. The training and weekend lectures I have received
from my guide are now explicitly being reflected in my current job, and that has
made the whole experience rewarding and engaging. Moreover, I met some of the
greatest people there who nurtured and supported me in a way nobody can. Overall
it was a life-changing experience where I dreamt, strived and failed before
achieving success.
Mukul Sharma
I have aspired to be an IITian from my childhood days. The moment my dream,
rather my mom’s, came true was when I joined IIT Hyderabad. My relationship with
II TH is quite long: 6+ years. II TH gave me a lot of first time moments to cherish
and preserve throughout my lifetime. It walks me through a journey where I learnt
many aspects of life playing a crucial role in moulding my personal, professional
and academic career. Thanks, II TH for giving me friends, family, wellwishers,
colleagues, memories and learnings we made together.
Dr. Santhosh S
My experience at II T Hyderabad is the most memorable time of my life. Thinking
about the days I spent always makes me smile and I cherish those moments
every day. I engaged in many curricular and extracurricular activities. It has
prepared me well to take challenges for next endeavours. My guide, friends,
colleagues, Non-teaching and security staff have been supportive throughout.

Amandeep Girdhar
II T Hyderabad has transformed me from a research scholar to an independent
researcher. The faculty here are so young and dynamic, who are always ready and
open to newer ideas and methods which facilitated me to do the research with no
boundaries.
Dr. Shivakalyani Adepu
My journey at IIT was fun both for academics and extra-curricular activities. It
gave me an opportunity to learn from awesome people around me and grow both
at a professional and personal level.
Swati Bhardwaj
Get a result, the night is sleepless. Don’t get a result, the night is sleepless. The
end result: the whole thing was like a dream which you can’t get enough of.
It was a memorable learning journey that I will always cherish. I will always
remember the night walks around the campus with friends.
K Subhash
Life is a learning process, which never ends. I had started my research life as a
newborn baby, and our IIT-H provided me with enough, and fed me, and helped me
grow into an adult researcher. With your (IIT-H) knowledge and research input, I
want to make life prosperous and same for you all. I am very much thankful to my
supervisor Dr Jyoti Ranjan Mohanty, Dept. of Physics, and associated staff. Finally
all my well-wishers, family and parents.
Soundararaj Annamalai
I can put it as before IITH and after IITH. Apart from making friends, my stay at
II TH taught me how to handle myself during any crisis. It was here that I again
learned to handle my failure and take success with humility and humbleness.
Impressions left on me by II TH are surely going to be remembered for a lifetime.
Shanti Swaroop Kandala
Highly enriching and beautiful. I was back on a college campus as a student
after a gap of 15 years. Living in the hostel, dining with friends and colleagues,
late-night volleyball games and the pulsating feeling just before the exams were
really memorable.
Dr. Basant Kumar
It was a pleasant experience and experienced a professional environment. I
acquired a wealth of knowledge and memories during my stay at IIT Hyderabad.
I’ll be happy to extend my help in any manner within my capabilities if required.
Dhiman Banik
I learnt some valuable professional values at IITH. Made some good friends with
whom I spent most of the time.
Naveen Kumar Nakarakanti
If I could describe my PhD experience in a word I would pick the word
“challenging”. Be gritty, be resilient and never give up. These are the three
things that my PhD journey has taught me.
Raghu Piska
I had the unique opportunity to experience IITH transformed from the old ODF
campus to the new Kandi campus. I have met teachers and friends that made me
feel like a family. The departmental birthday celebrations and ice-cream nights
were some of my favourite memories.
Konjengbam Anand
Wonderful faculty and research support, I express my heartfelt thanks to the
teaching and non-teaching staff.
Gundrathi Narendra Goud
Excellent research environment, found good friends.
