Juanita Beddingfield

Juanita Beddingfield of Pulaski passed away on
Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at Southern Tennessee
Regional Health Systems Pulaski. She was born in Giles
County on March 17th, 1924 and was 94 years old.
Juanita was a caregiver. She loved to be surrounded by
family and friends. Juanita was an avid gardener, loved
her flowers and the outdoors, watching TV, and taking
care of people. Visitation was held on Monday, January
7th, 2019, from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Bennett-May &
Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral Service
followed at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce
Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial took place in
Kedron Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to
First Baptist Church CB Building Fund, 407 South First
Street, Pulaski, TN. 38478. She was preceded in death by
her husband Leon Beddingfield, parents Henry Aymett
and Mable Elwood Edwards Griggs, son James Owen
Beddingfield, brother Garland A. “Cooner” Griggs and
son-in-law Wayne Loveless. She is survived by her;
Daughters – Connie Loveless of Pulaski; Hope (Maurice)
Woodard of Pulaski Donna Samuels of Pulaski Nita
(William R.) Reed, Jr. of Columbia Son – Bert (Kathy)
Beddingfield Daughter-in-law- Brenda Beddingfield 12
Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great
Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also
survive. Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and
Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Juanita
Beddingfield.

Helen (“Brownie”) Caulkins Brown

Helen (“Brownie”) Caulkins Brown, died peacefully at home at age of 84 on
Sunday, January 13th, 2019, from Alzheimers. Ms. Brown was born in 1934
to Helen and Wilford Caulkins, Jr. of Lookout Mountain, Tn. She spent her
entire childhood on Lookout Mountain and graduated high school from
Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga. After high school, she attended
and graduated from Vanderbilt University. Shortly after college she met and
married Hutton Brown. The couple lived in Nashville for a few years before
settling in Pulaski, Tennessee in 1962, where Brownie lived the rest of her
life. In addition to raising two boys she worked for many years as an
accountant in the family business, Browns Car Center. She was a vibrant
member of the community in Pulaski. She was a member of various
organizations over the years, but the two organizations she cared about the
most were the First Presbyterian Church and the Giles County Public
Library. She was both a Deacon and Elder in the church as well as member
of the choir for over 40 years. She was on the board of directors of the
library as well as a volunteer and fundraiser. Brownie was a loving and
devoted wife, caring and supportive mother, a doting grandmother, and a
dear friend to many. She never met a stranger and would gladly spend
hours talking common interests or acquaintances. She is survived by her
sister, Harriet Moore, her two sons, Robert Hutton Brown, III (Melissa) and
David Caulkins Brown (Andra) and her four grandchildren; Emma Caulkins
Brown, Lucille Middleton Brown, Benjamin Rodes Brown and Lillian
Jeanette Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hutton
Brown, Jr. and her brother Wilford (“Billy”) Caulkins. The family wishes to
express its sincere gratitude for the women who cared for Brownie in her
final years including, Sheila Glover, Diana Leslie, and Cheryl Buell. In lieu
of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the First
Presbyterian Church of Pulaski c/o 202 S 2nd St, Pulaski, TN 38478 or the
Giles County Public Library c/o 122 S 2nd St, Pulaski, TN 38478. The
visitation will be 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock Tuesday, January 15th, 2019, at
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. The funeral service
will be 11:00am Wednesday, January 16th, 2019, at the First Presbyterian
Church of Pulaski, followed by a reception in the fellowship hall. There will
be a private burial at the family plot in Fayetteville. Bennett-May & Pierce
Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Helen
(“Brownie”) Caulkins Brown.

Andrew Wayne Eubank

Andrew Wayne Eubank of Pulaski passed away on
Friday, January 19, 2019. He was born in Nashville,
Tennessee on March 22, 1974 and was 44 years old.
He was a member of St. Andrew Memorial United
Methodist Church, loved his family and being around
people. Visitation Thursday, January 24, 2019 from
4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral
Home and Crematory. Memorial Service was on Friday,
January 25th at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May
& Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro.
Brandon Bass officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial

death by his father, Richard Wayne Eubank. He is
survived by his mother, Mary Bass of Pulaski, son,
Brady (Samantha) Eubank of Pulaski, daughter, Carlie
Eubank of Pulaski, brother, Mark (Paula) Eubank of
Pulaski, sister, Julie Hougland and fiancé Randy
Rogers of Pulaski, nephew, Austyn Hougland, niece,

William Farr

Bill Farr of Goodspring passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019
at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN. He was born in
Fairfax, Virginia on October 23, 1956 and was 62 years old. Bill was
an avid golfer, pool player, and deer hunter. In his younger years he
loved playing baseball, softball, and basketball. He loved drag racing
his mustang with his brother at the Lawrenceburg dragstrip. He
loved our pitbull Harley. He was his baby. More than anything he
loved his family. His grandkids were the apple of his eye. We will
miss him so much. Visitation was on Friday, January 25th from
4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and
Crematory. Funeral Service took place on Saturday, January 26th
with a visitation from 12:00pm until 1:00pm and service at 1:00pm
at Shores Baptist Church, Goodspring, TN. with Pastor Steve Nave
officiating. Burial was in Shores Cemetery. In lieu of flowers
donations are requested to the American Heart Association or
American Cancer Society. He is preceded in death by his father,
John Ray Farr, mother, Martha Ruth Garner Thornton, step-father,
Clayton Thornton, and sister, Penny Seymour. He is survived by his
wife, Roxane Wilbourn Farr of Goodspring, TN, son, Jon (April) Farr
of Nashville, son, Matt Farr of Pulaski, daughter, Mandy Farr (Philip)
Bennett of Nashville, grandchildren, Allie Farr, Bella Farr, Jax Farr,
Hayden Farr, Abby Bennett, and Gunnar Bennett, brother, James
(Ann) Farr of Pulaski, sister, Ann (Dave) Wagoner of Pulaski,
brother, Danny (Sharon) Farr of Pulaski, sister-in-law, Suzette
(Jackie) Brewer, brother-in-law, Tony Wilbourn. Several nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. Bennett-May & Pierce

Barbara Gilbert

Barbara Gilbert of Prospect passed away on Wednesday, January
16, 2019. She was born in Prospect, TN on April 9, 1961 and was
57 years old. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister. She
was a member of Pleasant Hill Church. She loved working in the
church and was a devoted usher. She enjoyed cooking, baking,
taking care of her family, and watching her favorite tv shows and
soap operas. Visitation was held on Friday, January 18th from
4:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and
Crematory. Funeral Service and visitation took place on Saturday,
January 19th with visitation from 11:00am until 12:00pm and
service followed at 12:00pm at First Baptist Church. Burial followed
in Maplewood cemetery. She was preceded in death by her Paternal
grandparents, Roberta Randolph and Noah Smith, and maternal
grandparents, Ozell and Katherline Gilbert. She is survived by her,
daughter, Brooklyn Gilbert of Prospect, son, Juwan Moon-Gilbert of
Prospect, companion, Anthony Moon of Decatur, AL, parents, Fred
D. and Barbara Sue Gilbert of Prospect, brothers and sisters, Roger
Gilbert, Fred E. (Theresa) Gilbert, Jimmy (Mae Joyce) Gilbert, Evelyn
(Wayne) Bridgeforth, Tim Gilbert, Darrell (Anita) Gilbert, Jacquelyn
(John) Gilbert Nattress, and Richard (Glenda) Randolph, aunts,
Agnes Phillips, Dorothy Smith, Shirley Gipson, Dovie Gilbert, Deloris
Watson, Sarah Gilbert, and Annie Ruth Gilbert. devoted Friends, Ed
and Mamie Randolph, Gladys Moon, Sheila Gilbert Evans, James
McElroy, and Ronnie Johnson, and host of nieces, nephews,
