11-H
11RJK-H, it has been such a privilege and a real pleasure to have been your form tutor for all five of your years
at Bartholomew. It has been an incredible journey, watching you grow from nervous Year 7s into the
confident and talented group of students you have become. As we now disperse as a form and take on new
challenges I look back on our time together with great fondness and sincerely hope you do all do too.
You have been a pretty stable group as far as forms go only losing one member, Sienna-Rose, along the way. It
is testament to your friendly nature and wonderful support of each other that Harry, Luke Powell, Charley and
Kieron who joined us at various stages after Year 7 were made to feel really welcome and consequently fitted
in so well.
We have shared some fantastic times together and there have been many memorable moments. Our trip to
Bath in Year 7 must of course be one of them and I am sure you individually have ones that are special to you.
Some of my personal favourites include: “passing” the Gruffalo around as permission to speak during circle
time in Year 7; our “Pay it Forward” class assembly; the little gifts you have given me such as Stephen’s Lego
Mr Keeping with a saxophone and Maddie and Dora’s Minecraft Mr Keeping resplendent in the suit I wear at
gigs. Best of all though for me has to be our class nativity play where Courtney playing Mary “gave birth” to
the baby Jesus played by Georgia – classic!
I am really sorry that I missed your last few weeks in school due to illness. Thank you all so much for the lovely
card you sent me it really cheered me up. I was so pleased to get back to see you for your final assembly and
to chat with you at the Year 11 Dinner Dance where I must say you all looked amazing!
I wish you all every success in the future. I am intensely proud of you and will remember you with great
fondness. Take care of yourselves and please keep in touch.
