Muhammad Aqil in third with 36 points on countback.

Meanwhile over in the Guests category, Nik Masidee emerged the

The resplendent KPGCC course saw enthusiastic golfers coming
together in the morning of November 13 for the Deepavali
November Monthly Medal.

Complemented by excellent sunny conditions, the event was
played based on Stableford format and saw Au Zhen Nick capturing
the A Medal with a score of 42. Farhan Fikri and Palsamy Mayalagu
emerged winners of the B and C Medals with scores of 44 and 39
respectively, while the Ladies category was won by Fong Poh Choo
with a score of 35.

The title of overall gross winner went to Foo Hwa Peng,
who amassed a score of 72.

The 5th Selangor Arena Short Course Sprint
Invitational Swimming Championship 2016 was held
at Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan on August 26 to 28.
Organised by Persatuan Renang Amatur Selangor
(PRAS), this event is one of the most popular
swimming meets eagerly looked forward to by junior
swimmers, especially new comers as they race
against their competition in a 25-metre pool.

Team KPGCC managed to snatch 3 gold, 12 silver
and 13 bronze medals, with Cherilynn Pua Jia En
(Girls 11-12) and Chong Zheng Yew (Boys 10 &
Under) both emerging 1st Runner-Up in their
respective categories.

“It is great to see so many swimmers especially
those first-timers putting forth their best effort and
overcoming barriers,” said Head Coach Zalah. “And
congratulations to all the swimmers for breaking their
personal best times!”

The Sport Excel/Milo/NSC/ASUM Junior Well done, Team KPGCC!
Swimming Grand Final 2016, held at
Kompleks Renang Kuala Lumpur on
August 13 to 14, featured the country’s top
24 junior swimmers who have accumulated
the most points in their respective age group
events amassed over two prior legs.

9 KPGCC swimmers qualified, namely
Eunice Pua Jia Hui (age 7), Jayden Goh Li Jie
(age 7), Henry Goh Li Hen (age 9),
Chong Zheng Yew (age 9), Yap Inn She (age
10), Koay Jia Qi (age 12), Cherilynn Pua Jia En
(age 12), Low Kai Shen (age 12) and
Beatrice Liew (age 13).

The Goh siblings produced the best
outing with Henry finishing top 7 in the 50m
Backstroke event and top 8 in the 50m
Butterfly event, while Jayden finished top 7
in the 100m Butterfly event.

personal best times, it was all in all an excellent
